Gracious Heavenly Father, we are so very grateful for the boldness You have granted us through the blood of Jesus to come before Your throne with the prayers that You hear. We are Your own and citizens of Heaven. What amazing grace for which we are eternally grateful.
Revelation 1:6 "To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."
Today we pray for our President and Vice President, their families and staff, his cabinet and patriots in service to us through You. We also pray for our citizens a prayer You gave the priests to say:
We bless these people, saying to them:
The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
And we put Your name upon these people and the Israelites, and You will bless them. Praying in the name of Jesus, we agree with each other and Your Word. Amen.
