“Id like to restate, one final time, the major points in my first op-ed so there is no confusion about my stance on Trump...”
As an evangelical, I would like to state my stance on this writer so there is no confusion.
He can go to hell.
Best and most accurate definition that tells us what/who is really behind TDS.
The comments below the article at the link are good. A lot of people “get it.” Trump is not perfect, and he is not a saint, but he has done some good things for the country, especially with judicial appointments. Considering the policies which the Democrats support, how can any Christian not vote for Trump?
[[Why post this?]]
why not? You allergic to the gospel or something? lol- The point was to expose the writer as a TDS victim, who’s spirit is one of attacking, not loving kindness- He is trying to foment discord among those that support Donald Trump- instead of realizing that presidents are NOT preachers, and that Pres Trump is worlds better than any democrat would have been- The author is writing like a hateful liberal- not someone who realizes that it is God who appoints leaders to office, and who supports those whom He appoints- knowing that everything works out to His plan-
That’s all
He’s not a famous liberal or anything.
[[Chris Thurman, Ph.D., is a psychologist and author of The Lies We Believe. and a simpleton who cannot understand the difference between right and wrong.]]
Exactly! Short but to the point-
That’s the point- He’s an Anti-Christian/False-Christian liberal parading around as a holier than everyone else Christian- The fella posted those verses to show everyone that the writer is writing not with a Christian spirit, but one that is anti-Christian
I love it! Genghis Trump the Invincible:-)
Thurmon appears to be a pretend Christian. He sure outed himself efficiently!
“Matthew 5:22, “But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, ‘You good-for-nothing,’ shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.””
Pure sophistry on the writers part. God has used an endless line of men with huge flaws for his good. King David is a fine example, Martin Luther is another, Paul was another. The list is long and endless.
Only a dumbass would say a Christian is a fool for supporting Trump because he is a little crude here and there. And a president who isn’t a little crude in the face of the pervasive corruption in DC is no good. Bush was a total failure, but he sure was nice, wasn’t he?
Bottom line, we can sense that Trump LIKES the America we all miss, and he likes us. That’s all we care about, sport.
“If Trump is a malignant narcissist as many of us believe, he is an evil person and has no redeeming qualities. Throughout human history, we have seen one evil person after another cause great harm to our world. Would anyone look at an Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Vladimir Putin, or Kim Jong Un and say they have strengths in the sense of positive character traits?”
Seriously? And after that assaholic lecture he gives us, he actually supports that coked-out, liquor-soggy, lesbian, child raping, money stealing, law breaking, bribe-taking, pizza gate, grifter, psycho laughing at killing Kaddafi, attacking Bills rape victims, breeding with Webb Hubble, lying to a Benghazi family right at the coffin of their son, mass murder suspect, calling Donna Brazille a water buffalo, dog hating, power grabbing, Hillary McBeth Clinton?
GFY
What happened to the Goldwater Rule?
1: Not every great man is a good man.
2: I didn’t vote for Trump so that he could lead a theocracy. I voted for Trump so that he could fix the pressing secular problems that plague us all, not just us Christians.
So people will know who the enemy is. This guy claims he is a Christian - and forgets that Paul and Peter give very SPECIFIC commands regarding how Christians are to deal with leaders in Titus 3:1, 2; 1 Timothy 2:1, 2 and 1 Peter 2:13-17 - and in THEIR context - that leader was NERO. Now - regardless of what ANYONE thinks of Trump - I believe EVERYONE can agree he is NO Nero.
Yet this man somehow, in his Christian faith, manages to violate the scripture and badmouth a leader, appointed by God (as ALL leaders are - good AND bad - Daniel 4:25; Romans 13:1-4; John 19:11) - even though that leader falls well below the evil of a Nebuchadnezzar or a Nero - or even a Pilate.
And people need to know such things.
Call it whatever you like. Come Election Day, the hope is that he’s back in.
People did not vote for Donald Trump in ‘16 because they knew everything about him and loved him and his policies. Most people voted for him because the alternative was Hillary.
Now that he has been in the WH for three years, a whole bunch of people like him for his judicial picks and the state of the economy. We know that he is a unique character who isn’t like anyone else. At this moment in history, that is okay.
I think this is really simple. Christian’s, in general, love this country - and after 8 years of an American apologist, along with the hatred the left has for our American values, we clearly recognize somebody that also loves our country and is only interested in making it what it can and should be.
PDJT doesn’t even attempt to make out that he’s a perfect human being. The pathetic drivel is that the left still believes Obama was. I’ll take somebody that does what he says and says what he thinks over somebody that says what they think will win, and then do something completely different behind closed doors, every day of the week.
They can’t stand the fact that people woke up to the pandering, lying, globalist sell-outs that we’ve been forced to choose from since forever.
Abraham lied about who is wife was because he feared man more than he trusted in God. Jacob tricked his father into giving him Esau’s birthright. Reuben lost his birthright by sleeping with his father’s concubine. Judah slept with his daughter in-law. David sent a man out to die so he could sleep with his widow. Solomon installed a pagan idol in the Holy of Hollies. Peter denied Christ. The list goes on and on. Outside of Jesus not a single person in the Bible comes across as good.
The Bible is truth that is written & inspired by the Creator of Truth.
Why would any person who wishes to be informed not want truth?
Unless, of course, you hate the truth. In which case, your post makes sense and you’ve shown your cards.
