A Vision of the Sins of Jerusalem
Ezekiel 8
In the sixth year, on the fifth day of the sixth month,• I was sitting at home and the elders of Judah were sitting with me, when the hand of the Lord Yahweh fell on me.
2 I looked and saw something that looked like a man. Downward from what seemed to be his loins he was fire; and upward from his loins he seemed to shine like polished bronze. ·He stretched out what seemed to be a hand and took me by the hair; and the spirit lifted me into the air and, in visions from God, took me to Jerusalem, to the entrance of the inner north gate, where the idol of Jealousy stands, provoking jealousy.
·There I saw the glory of the God of Israel, as I had seen it in the valley.
·He said, "Son of man, raise your eyes to the north.'' I raised my eyes to the north, and there, to the north of the altar gate, stood this statue of Jealousy at the entrance.
·He said, "Son of man, do you see what they are doing? Do you see all the filth practiced here by the House of Israel, to drive me out of my sanctuary? You will see filthier practices yet." He next took me to the entrance to the court. I looked; there was a hole s in the wall. ·He said, "Son of man, break through the wall." I broke through the wall; there was a door.
·He said, "Go in and look at the filthy things they are doing inside.'' ·I went in and looked : all sorts of images of snakes and repulsive animals and all the idols of the House of Israel drawn on the wall all around.
Seventy elders of the House of Israel were standing in front of the idols, among them Jaazaniah son of Shaphan, each one, censer in hand; the fragrance of incense was rising.
·He said, "Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the House of Israel do in the dark, each in his painted room? They say, 'Yahweh cannot see us; Yahweh has abandoned the country.' "
·He said, "You will see them at filthier practices still."
He next took me to the entrance of the north gate of the Temple of Yahweh where women were sitting, weeping for Tammuz."
·He said; "Son of man, do you see that? You will see even filthier things than that."
He then led me to the inner court of the Temple of Yahweh. And there, at the entrance to the sanctuary of Yahweh, between the porch and the altar, there were about twenty-five men, with their backs to the sanctuary of Yahweh and their faces turned to the east. They were bowing to the east, toward the sun.
He said to me, "Son of man, do you see that? Is it not bad enough for the House of Judah to do the filthy things that they are doing here?
But they fill the country with violence and provoke my anger further; look at them now putting that branch to their nostrils. ·My anger forces me to it; I will show neither pity nor mercy. They may shout as loud as they like; I will not listen to them."
The Punishment
Then as I listened he shouted,
"Come here, you scourges of the city, and bring your weapons of destruction."
·Immediately six men advanced from the upper north gate, each holding a deadly weapon.
In the middle of them was a man in white, with a scribe's ink horn in his belt.
They came in and halted in front of the bronze altar.
·The glory of the God of Israel rose off the cherubs where it had been and went up to the threshold of the Temple.
He called the man in white with a scribe's ink horn in his belt ·and said, "Go all through the city, all through Jerusalem, and mark a cross on the foreheads of all who deplore and disapprove of all the .fifth practiced in it."
·I heard him say to the others,
"Follow him through the city, and strike. Show neither pity nor mercy; old men, young men, virgins, children, women, kill and exterminate them all. But do not touch anyone with a cross on his forehead. Begin at my sanctuary."
So they began with the old men in front of the Temple. ·He said to them, "Defile the Temple; fill the courts with corpses, and go." They went out and hacked their way through the city.
While they were hacking them down, I stayed behind; I fell face downward and exclaimed,
"Ah, Lord Yahweh, are you going to annihilate all that is left of Israel as you turn your anger on Jerusalem?"
·He said, 'The guilt of the House of Israel and Judah is immense, boundless; the country is full of bloodshed, the city overflows with wickedness, for they say, 'Yahweh has abandoned the country, Yahweh cannot see.'
·Right, then, I too will show no pity, I too will not spare. I mean to call them to account for all their behavior."
·The man in white with the scribe's ink horn in his belt then came back and made his report,
"I have carried out your orders."
In posting this, I suddenly realized that those who work against God and His Son and His people are always motivated by Jealousy, as pointed out in these chapters.
Is our current problem in politics motivated by the same murderous jealousy? Is pedophilia the tender of the realm of those ungodly who hate the Lord?
Finally, do not overlook the part about God having His angels mark His people with an invisible seal on their foreheads.
This invisible seal (note... it's a spiritual seal. Satan or Satan's people on earth will counterfeit God's invisible seal with a physical seal to be able to "buy and sell" that believers will not be able to take under pain of the loss of their salvation.) God's invisible seal is mentioned in the Book of Revelation:
Revelation 14:1
Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144, 000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads.
Revelation 7:1-4
After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree.
Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea:
"Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God."
Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144, 000 from all the tribes of Israel.
Some capital punishment is needed for the treason committed.
Well if 70 elders agreed to engage in idolatry, what kind of lone nut would disagree with the big names, the expert authorities? After all, it's only a filthy swamp if it's the Establishment in DC. Those filthy, corrupt, lying pols...
Of course, they are not swamps when the religious establish them. 2000 years of consensus can't possibly be wrong, much less the problem.. It's those heretics, the "Donald Trumps" who come along with real vision in order to actually accomplish something useful and clean up this town.
"Crucify him!"
We may have to leave judgement to God on this.

Protect those committed to doing Your will as You reveal all lies and liars in high places this election season. Amen
Yes and the seventy elders committing filthy acts in secret conspiracy against the Lord were united in jealousy.
That’s what this always is... jealousy of those who operate in God’s favor.

Lord Jesus, reveal to Your people in America all that we need to know to overthrow the works of Hell in our nation regarding our political elites.
