I am about as far away from being a contemporary Christian as a person can get, and I am certain that Hillsong wouldn’t be my cup of tea, but if he has found the Way, the Truth, and the Life, that is a good thing.
I hope he is called not calling himself into it. That other Hillsong worship leader turned his back on Jesus a couple yrs back.

As I was a teenager in the 70’s early 80’s I remember many rock stars decided to become Christians and start producing Christian contemporary music and started going on the Christian contemporary music scene tour. I ignorantly follow these artists, some of them turned out to produce good music and stayed in the Christian music scene for many decades, others moved onto other things like weird Middle eastern religions. My gut feeling is Justin wants to move away from the young male Hollywood teenager attention whore culture and become the new Christian Contemporary male whore where he can make just as much money and have just as much attention as he is use to getting. Just another attention getting whore riding a different beast.
