American Cardinal Raymond Burke, who staunch conservatives in the Catholic Church view as something of an anti-Pope Francis, is fighting for his life on a ventilator in a Wisconsin hospital after contracting what he often referred to as the “Wuhan Virus.” The prelate was on a vacation from Rome, where he lives.
The 73-year-old cardinal has shown himself to be a COVID-19 denier, publicly scoffing at Italy’s strict lockdown measures during the height of the pandemic and was even seen strolling around Rome mask-free even when face coverings were mandated outside. He was the subject of a brief Italian news report that showcased Americans defying Italy’s anti-COVID measures, telling the newspaper that closing Catholic churches and social outdistancing was “un-Godly.”
Burke has been one of Pope Francis’ harshest critics, teaming up with Stever Bannon and conservative Italian politician Matteo Salvini to condemn Francis on issues such as immigration and homosexuality. He was also tapped to be the spiritual director of a failed venture by Bannon to develop an alt-right academy in an ancient monastery in the foothills of Rome, which has been curtailed by the Italian government.

If only they permitted him medications that work and kept him off the ventilator! But the CDC’s 340 page ‘protocol’ directs most hospitals in the country, so he will be denied basics and told there are no medications.

Still nobody knows whether he was ever vaccinated. Of course if he has been, they can no longer call him a “vaccine skeptic”. They also will not be able to gloat if he dies. They also would have to admit that he died despite taking the vaccine.
If he has not, this doesn’t help the anti-vaccine movement and will further the push to force it on those Catholics who refuse it.
You’re presuming the gene therapy is an actual “vaccine”.
And those who oppose vaccines falsely so-called are not necessarily “anti-vaxxers”.

Leftist progressives in the media can barely contain the elation they feel when a religious person who is a covid skeptic gets what he deserves. They don’t care about anyone but themselves first, their relatives less, their friends somewhat. But everyone is disposable because progressives are utilitarian. If they can’t use you for something they want you dead as an example.

My brother in law was on a vent for 3 weeks.
He’s survived 6 months since going off it, although he’ll never be healthy again.

Risking stroke, heart attack, blood clots, neurological damage, and death. People are still being hospitalized and dying despite vaccination.
