Words mean things, and words are power. Jesus used words to call fourth Lazarus from the Tomb.

Your claim that words don’t matter or amount to incantation is not biblical. The difference is whethet they are done in the name of God or not. Jesus did his works in connection with his Father Nd in his own name.

His desciples he commended them to baptize in his name all nations.

Words to have meaning, but not in the context of what the article presents.

I would point out it was Jesus name that had power and only because a believer had faith in Jesus. Biblically it went very poorly for those who tested Jesus name against evil spirits without faith.

It was the spirit not the words that mattered.

***The Power that raised Lazarus from the dead was not a word, it was THE WORD: Jesus, Who was God Himself.

I think you will find that the word “name” doesn’t mean appellation, rather “authority”. To say that the word “Jesus” has some power in itself is superstition or magic. It is by Jesus’ authority that we act, not on our own (in our own name).
