What Separates the Men from the Boys.
Jesus, who for the joy that was set before him, endured the cross despising the shame and is now set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Jesus told us He loved us; He broke open his heart to heal the brokenhearted and He took the sickness of sin so we can be healthy and whole.
He went down into death so we can die only as all men from the womb to the tomb. We will be raised to eternal life when our names are recorded in the book of life. We can cry “Abba, Father”, to God Almighty because God's Son made us children of God by our faith in Him. Jesus was the man who loved his Father and the children of mankind who became His family. He loved not his life but gave Himself for us.
In this world, what separates the men from the boys, is the love of God and family more than the love of toys!
We had a boy who lived in the city come visit our house recently. On the wall was a bobcat hide that was made into a rug. I explained to him that the cat was killing our chickens. The boy thought it was like a house cat. “You could have given it to someone else, you didn't have to flatten it out!” I explained that animals have no souls, they do what comes natural to their nature. I told him that I raised the chickens, “look at the coloration on the cat that is the lovely part of him being God's creation”. “My husband had to stop him from harming our family, that is what men do.” I told him that when my husband asked if I wanted him to skin it, I was like “Eww! no, gross”!
Thank God I wasn't born a man! I was in labor for 21 hours with our first child. As a young couple, we went to Lamaze classes and agreed to natural childbirth, however, after about 18 hours of labor, I asked for pain medicine but my husband told me we agreed not to. I punched him in the nose and got my pain medicine! I gave all my love and life to raise our children and to teach them to love God and to become children of God.
My husband, a Soldier, went to war and had to defend our country. One of the greatest heartaches we have had was our children married people who were selfish, like children, always wanting to play. When our daughter and her children were left, we stepped in and helped raise them. My husband was the Godly male influence in their lives.
As one who had been left to die because I was an unwanted child, it has been the greatest joy to see how God gives the desire of the heart if you ask according to His will.
We have our family farm full of fruit bearing plants, I grew life. Our family has God and His great love; as the faith of a family deeply rooted in the American soil in all our life and toil that no matter how evil men may war and boil, God has a plan for good and not evil ! God will foil those plans.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and body!
Amen!

During Pride month - a crow bar and a fire hose.
Amen.
Easy. Boys value their video toys and other immediate mundane pleasures. Men value integrity, honor, family, being self-sufficient, and kindness/charity to others. It used to be called a Gentleman.

In San Francisco, it’s a crowbar....................
GMTA!....................
I'm not in the habit of quoting Cokie Roberts, but she once said:
[Paraphrase]-PJ
We used to talk about "sending our boys off to war." Now that women are going into combat, we talk about "our men and women in harms way."I always knew it took a woman to turn a boy into a man!
Amen.
If it wasn’t a man going to the cross it would never have been done because no one else would.
.
In Greece they use a crowbar.
In France they don’t bother.
