A recent report reveals that the number of people killed by euthanasia has dramatically increased since it was legalized in Belgium in 2002. Since then, euthanasia has killed more than 27,000 people in the nation.
Euthanasia became legal in 2002 due to the introduction of an exception to the law prohibiting the killing of others. The exception offered a “solution” to adult patients who had a “serious and incurable” disease that was causing them great suffering. It was hoped that this exception would put an end to the covert euthanasia that was being practiced.
Since its legalization, euthanasia has killed over 27,000 Belgian people — but that is only the number of deaths being recorded. The actual number of euthanized deaths is assumed to be much higher. According to the report:
[T]he Commission does not have the possibility of evaluating the proportion of the number of euthanasia’s declared in relation to the number of euthanasia’s actually performed. In other words, these figures only reflect part of the reality of euthanasia in Belgium.

Legalizing killing human beings has always resulted in more killing.
What is wrong with keeping it “covert”? Then it really is rare, and when it happens, can be prosecuted.
What I’d like to know is how many people in Europe have died from ‘”Youth” from ‘Asia’ ‘ (like their media call their muslim refugees.)
Between August 1942 and July 1944, around 25,500 Jews and 350 Roma were deported from Belgium; more than 24,000 were killed before the camps were liberated by the Allies.
So, in terms of systematic killing, Belgium is a bit ahead of last time.

For end-of-life situations in the US, you MUST be on guard for the pro-euthanasia people dressed in lab coats and scrubs. I know of instances where "Comfort Care" becomes no food and water under the theory that nutrition is "curative."
I've read of instances where the morphine drip to make the patient "comfortable" can become a murder weapon in the hand of an Angel of Death...and nobody would ever know.
