Let the leaders who live in darkness receive a personal message of Your love (Psalm 52:15);
that leaders who live in war-torn nations will grow weary of continual bloodshed (I Kings 5:3-4);
that those leaders who lead corrupt governments will recognize their evil ways and turn to You (II Chron 33:12-13);
that leaders who boast of power will realize that their earthly kingdom was given to them by You (Daniel 2:19-22).

Lord, we pray for protection for our leaders who speak up against tyranny and revere the rule of law. We pray for protection for our leaders who are trying to right this sinking ship.
Indeed, Lord, confuse the counsel of the wicked and expose their schemes to the world through leaks and miscommunications, emails sent to the wrong people, and through overheard and recorded conversations.
Let their plans for evil against others backfire upon them. Protect the innocent who are their targets. Let justice, real, true, actual justice, prevail.
And Lord, open their eyes to see You, high and lifted up and bring them to a place of genuine repentance and salvation. And yet, if they refuse Lord, like pharaoh who continually hardened his heart, remove them from their positions of influence and leadership by whatever means YOU deem appropriate, and make it clear that YOUR hand did it.

Frightened indeed. Their eyes show it all. Unfortunately in their fear they turn to wickedness, either in ignorance or outright rebellion. The result is ruin of their nation. America is in this low place, and we are exporting delusion around the world through coercion. Lord you see the delusional stronghold upon our throats.
