Most Catholics naturally align with Democrats because they want a big bureaucratic government to align with their big bureaucratic church.
A few of them understand you can’t be a Catholic AND a secular socialist and most of those people are here on FR.
Actually the doctrine of the holy trinity is quite understandable - Christ is and always has been the Second Person of the Trinity, since the beginning of time... as He was in Mary's womb and througout his childhood. There was no time ever when He was not GOD.
Your thinking is what happens when you get religious instruction from bible-achool types - instead of actual saints and martyrs.

I think the reason might be because The dems think they can sin, and just go to confession and glibly “confess” their sins (with no intention of giving them up), and go right back out and commit the same sins over and over again. They wanna .ive like the world, no holds barred, indu,ging in every sin under the sun, and go to church once in awhile to “confess” and think they have been cleansed for a bit, jusy incase they die before they go out and indulge their sic, fantasies again.
If you call the sinner Mary an impure vessel, then yes. What does the Bible say? Heb. 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved Him to be made like unto his brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
Yes, Mary was a sinner. That's covered in the Romans 3:23 verse "Because none of us are sinless, all of us fall short of God's glory.".

It is vulgar for man to claim he has the authority let alone the credibility to deem anyone a saint.
Peter penned there are three different Heaven/earth worlds. (Ages). Jesus was/is wholly man and wholly God. God has been alive forever. Eternally. And will remain so eternally. Man cannot comprehend these things fully. It is beyond our senses and reasoning. God even says so. But maybe you are special.

Why do Catholics need to be converted to Protestants? Are you trying to say we aren’t Christians or we aren’t going to Heaven because we aren’t “born again? If that’s your argument then are you saying nobody went to heaven in that 1,000 or so year period until Calvin came along?

You might want to pick up a dictionary and check out the meaning of the word, as the original meaning of the word “cult” just means a body of people devoted to venerating someone. So are you denying that there are Catholics who venerate Mary?
If not, then there is most definitely a “cult of Mary” in the Catholic church.

Almost right but don’t forget there is one exception. Jesus’ presence in heaven definitely has bearing, as he opened the way for the rest of us.

That is a terrific and useful graph in its own right. I’m very attuned to these matters and I’ve not seen its equal.
On the other hand, it is c. 2014. I think Trump, as a Republican standard-bearer, may have changed a lot of this calculus (most notably among Mormons, but other groups as well). I’d truly love to see what the breakdowns are as of these VERY DIFFERENT times, 9 years later.

Well, there’s Romans 3:23, for one. It doesn’t say “all have sinned, except for Mary”.

Why not? Jesus wore imperfect clothes, imperfect sandals, ate imperfect food, and lived with imperfect people for 33 years. I think he could probably tolerate 9 months more imperfection to accomplish his goal.

Read my post. I was saying to lay off Catholics because Catholics aren’t the problem. Whatever disputes us Protestants have with Catholics are minimal compared to what the hedonist Dims are doing to us.
