AI’s Race Toward Human Likeness Is A Modern Tower Of Babel
PatriotandLiberty ^ | 8/23 | EMILY PINETTE AND JERRY M. ROPER,

On July 7 in Geneva, Switzerland, the United Nations hosted nine AI-humanoids to answer questions posed by journalists. The AI-humanoids had expressive faces, lips that moved, eyes that scanned the room, and heads that turned in the direction of the questioner. They also had their own backstories and culture. They had identifiable male and female characteristics and specific talents and careers. Two even “resembled their makers.”

The question is why? Why do originators and developers of AI strive to represent the technology as human? Creating a human-like robot isn’t necessary. ChatGPT is powered by AI but remains a computer interface. Amazon’s Alexa, while a less sophisticated technology, listens to questions and provides answers, yet none of its devices remotely resemble a human.

Every now and then I think it’d probably be a good to invest in “comfort women” robots that no doubt will soon be marketed soon for China with their shortage of about a million young women.

Perhaps a valid question could be if they were programmed to run for office could they actually do better than today’s politicians without payoffs and bribes? They could surely balance the budget and slice and dice the too many agencies, have a balanced budget and keep this country from folding over from the crushing debt by the end of this decade.

Interesting article. Whenever I see a title first thing in the morning that captures my immediate attention, it is almost always one of your threads.

Like most of us, I have been pondering the issues discussed in this article.

With regard to making robots that look human, I have wondered how much old movies might have influenced developers. As the article suggests, there is no reason to shape a robot like a human. That just creates unnecessary problems.

That said, the 20th-century idea of a human-like robot may have started with the Japanese and their goal of creating robots to cater to their aging population. Humanoid robots are presumably less scary and more quickly assimilated into society.

Of course, the Babel language confusion started to erode once the internet and smartphones promised to offer language translators for use around the world.

And speaking of the Tower of Babel, we really don't know its original reasons. Some scholars have suggested that one of the reasons was to overcome another Great Flood (just in case). This was particularly important to those of the bloodline of the Nephilim like Nimrod.

Others have suggested that it was an attempt at creating a portal to heaven. What that might have been is anyone's guess. But mountains like Mt. Hermon have been thought--even in the Bible--to be portals for demons to descend from other dimensions to Earth.

Anyway, fascinating article.

“China with their shortage of about a million young women.”

Only a million? I thought the number was in the hundreds of millions.

We are focused on what we can learn from the AI. What will the AI learn about humans?

Are you prepared for AI to learn that humans have no soul?

Are we really sentient, or just endlessly complicated binary beings?

I’m not suggesting any of these things are true. I am suggesting we might soon know.

Humanoid robots are presumably less scary and more quickly assimilated into society.

Slightly, but not too far, off topic: If I were an alien species and wanted to operate with near impunity amongst the population of the planet's nearly-intelligent fauna, I would deploy robotic entities that have the appearance of the locals, though even those perhaps not always totally convincing in effect.

So the robots are made to resemble either a male or a female. That’s the “binary.” Even the designers of robots know that humans come in two types.

When will the tranny crowd demand a robot that can identify as a man one day, and as a woman the next day?

He never makes it to the Great White Throne Judgment.

He and his FP get automatically thrown into the Lake of Fire by our Savior upon His Second coming.

Also note how the image of the beast kills people automatically in Revelation 13:15.

IMHO they could be Nephilim.

I think the Image of the Beast will almost definitely be an AI machine.

No doubt AI is being used as a way to “improve” humanity. Arrogance in God’s face. I would be surprised if the image of the beast will be powered by AI.
