This is a series of lectures by Lex Friedman. This specific interview is with Michael Levin. The guy is an absolute genius. If this area of thought interests you, it is one of the most intellectually stimulating interviews I have ever heard.
Without stating it, he is researching the epigenetic influence of consciousness on cell and stem cell differentiation in the formation of physical life.

Michael Levin is an American developmental and synthetic biologist at Tufts University, where he is the Vannevar Bush Distinguished Professor. Levin is a director of the Allen Discovery Center at Tufts University and Tufts Center for Regenerative and Developmental Biology. He is also co-director of the Institute for Computationally Designed Organisms with Josh Bongard.
