Gramsci would be proud.

If they were truly seeking the blessings of God, they would first be OBEDIENT to Him and stop their sinful lifestyle. How could God bless those who commit what He calls an abomination?

Does the Catholic church allow priests to bless remarriages of the divorced?

The Pope has no power over me. He may be able to issue edicts to Catholic priests, but ordinary Catholics have no obligation to follow his commands.

And the Church wonders why more people are leaving!

What churches do disaffected Catholics attend? I haven’t heard of many leaving the church over political correctness.

Respectfully....yes they do per Unam Sanctam. This is something many Roman Catholics have never heard before.

"Now, therefore, we declare, say, determine and pronounce that for every human creature it is necessary for salvation to be subject to the authority of the Roman pontiff"

*****

It's always interesting to watch Roman Catholic apologists try to excuse this.

I just can’t understand why God allows him to walk the earth as he continues to try to destabilize the Catholic Church.

God gave humans free will. That's why they were booted from Eden.

Every human creature? Are they saying they expect Protestants to be subject to the Pope’s authority?

Francis has persecuted members of the clergy, including cardinals, who disagree with him, but he is careful not to directly contradict Catholic dogma, as heresy is grounds for deposing a pope. He hopes to degrade the census fidelium through gradual erosion and miseducation.

Pope Frankie is a typical post-modern neo-marxist.

“Blessing” of any kind for homosexuals is categorically AGAINST the Catechism, tradition and teaching of the Church since Jesus Christ.

Like Obama, Joe Biden and American neo-marxists though, they are happy to do things specifically forbidden by the Constitution.

I’m a cradle Catholic and have never been told I must follow a declaration made by Pope Boniface VIII in the 14th century or risk ex-communication.

Unam Sanctum is one of thousands of papal bulls issued by Rome over 1000 yrs. It was put forth in November 1302 in response to King Philip IV of France levying a tax on half the income of the French clergy. In fact, even at the time, Pope Boniface’s bull was widely ridiculed and disregarded.

Per Wikipedia, “Boniface's reputation for overweening papal claims made it difficult to accept such an extreme declaration. His assertion over the temporal was seen as hollow and misguided, and it is said that the document was not seen as authoritative because the body of the faithful did not accept it.”

You obviously need some new material. 🤣

A little research would show the fallacy of your comments. Took me 15 minutes to disprove your assumption.

LOL....another RC trying to dismiss Unam Sanctam. You're not the first and you probably won't be the last to try and dismiss this dogmatic proclaimation binding on all Roman Catholics.*****

I’m a cradle Catholic and have never been told I must follow a declaration made by Pope Boniface VIII in the 14th century or risk ex-communication.

I have no doubt you haven't as RCs run from this like the plague when it's brought up.

By those who didn't like it....kinda like today.

Per Wikipedia, “Boniface's reputation for overweening papal claims made it difficult to accept such an extreme declaration. His assertion over the temporal was seen as hollow and misguided, and it is said that the document was not seen as authoritative because the body of the faithful did not accept it.”

Again....just like today. RCs don't like the sweeping claim of authority the pope made.

Seems to me ya'll are acting like your own little popes picking and choosing which pope you like and which dogmas to follow.

The very thing RCs complain about the Reformation.

And yet you've disproven nothing....other than what I've observed about RCs when confronted with teachings from their denomination they don't like.

Took me about five minutes for all of this.

Actually, per Roman Catholic canon law he cannot be removed even for that.
