CHAPTER 1 There were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace to men

Three: Gabriel, Michael, and sometimes the Bible refers to Jesus as an angel. I am aware of several others mentioned in the Apochrypha.....................

The Catholic Bible has three, Gabriel, Michael, and Raphael.
Certain Jewish writings, apocrypha, mention several others.
Interestingly, angels are also part of Islam, Zoroastrianism and Gnosticism.
Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that Jesus is the Archangel Michael in human form................

Wonder what it is in Aramaic, which was the vernacular language the shepherds spoke, I understand, and hence would have been employed by Gabriel. Tried Google Translate, but Aramaic is not supported.

The Melkite-Greek Catholic Church uses Aramaic (along with Greek) in its Divine Liturgy. IIRC, they read the Scriptures in their local language (English, in the USA) and in the Greek "Septuagint".
Biblegateway has Arabic, but not Aramaic ...
Haha! I found an Aramaic Bible online!
