This is an excellent video that is over three hours long.
I don't agree with him on everything based on my own experiences, but this interview is still excellent. Worth watching for anyone who has an interest in the subject.
Important quote from video.
“Prayer is kryptonite to an evil spirit.”

Is there an exorcism for dummies video?
I really know nothing except many women I know have religiously tried exorcism with some Gym guy, but it never works to their satisfaction.
An excorcism is not something that you do. It is done through you when you pray and open up for the Holy Spirit to work through you.
Two good books on the subject are by the psychiatrist Dr. Scott Peck. “People of the Lie: The Hope for Healing Human Evil” and “Glimpses of the Devil: A Psychiatrist’s Personal Accounts of Possession.”
He ended up getting stung and it took his life.
Not sure what words to attach here. As one who has prepared for the Holy Ministry and is called to serve a congregation on a part time basis, this is a very serious matter. So, to say I am pleased to peruse your background and experience would be to trivialize.
As a baptized and catechized Christian from infancy, the demons have left me alone, though I must daily confess to a propensity for lust, greed, and all the flesh wants to do.
I might have mentioned this to you before, but one Christmas Day my siblings and I opened the gift of a Ouija Board by Milton & Bradley. I think it was Grandparents on my Dad’s side. His Dad was a Mason. Anyway, we tried it, and it did nothing. Trashed it.
But I still cannot figure out how/why my Mom and Dad did not trash it first. It remaibs a true anomaly in my upbringing, esoecially since Mom was the daughter of a Lutheran pastor.
Most likely she was sitting back praying. Her prayers could protect you from connecting with evil spirits. You then get frustrated as it doesn’t work, and get rid of it.
I’ve done similar prayers for schizophrenics without them knowing I was praying and they stopped hearing the voices.

This is the first of 7 Art Bell shows with Malachi.
Some people consider Malachi to be the greatest exorcist and theologian of the 20th century.
Thanks.

I am now into a decent portion of the interview you posted. The questioner does a great job, and the answers are much in accord with what makes sense.
It remains a firm conviction of mine the the “fulness of time” was prior to broadcast media, which has truly wreaked havoc upon the world. I almost wonder if it is not the “delusion” of which St. Paul writes.
That said, I am able to hear this, at least for now, through media heretofore unavailable to prior generations, so I’d best remain neutral
Exactly right; it is something you are called to by God--sometimes reluctantly. I have a great interest in spiritual warfare, exorcism, and deliverance of all kinds and consider myself a man of prayer, but knowing what I know of it, I have no call or desire to become involved in that type of ministry. I will prayer for tormented souls and direct them to someone who might help them, but I'll leave the heavy lifting of deliverance and exorcism to called souls like tired&retired and Fr. Carlos Martins (who I've listened too on many occasions with great benefit).
Bump for later
Good post will listen tomorrow.

Dr. Scott Peck? What happened?
We are in special times right now and the awareness and knowledge on this topic needs to be made available to destroy the stealth of evil.
Always remember that the Light of God is stronger than darkness. When you encounter darkness, God will allow you to struggle, often to the point of deep despair, until you turn to Him and ask for help in prayer.
When we are full of ourselves, we have no room for God. Thus, humility is the process of making room for God. The difficult experiences we encounter in life are to help us learn humility. God is in control, even of evil, and He is using it to guide us through our soul growth process to where we find our true strength through our weakness, in Him.
🙏🙏🙏
The constant battle in doing this work is a spiritual ego where you begin playing God. It creates openings in your soul where you allow evil to enter you.
I have a recording where I was working with Dr. Irene Hickman and a demonic spirit that had been after me moved into her assistant.
Dr. Hickman asked the demon why it was after me, and it screamed out, “To Kill Him.” And added “He’s ruining our plans.” This has been a constant battle my entire life and I’ve been stung by him quite a few times in my life. One of the first times happened when I was holding an ill woman’s hands and saying the Lord’s Prayer with her.
Suddenly, the demon came out of her, hit me in the chest and sent me flying across the room into the wall.
A week later, Michael appeared to me and removed it. I asked Him why this happened and He replied that I needed the experience to overcome fear. Michael has been with me ever since. Unfortunately, the demon is still there, watching and waiting for an opening.
I laugh at the demon now and thank him for reminding me to pray everytime he appears. It is a true loving gratitude that sends him flying away as though there were an explosion.
We are in the “time of the weeds or tares” that Jesus warned us about in Matthew 13. The end result will we wonderful, but the interim will be a bit bumpy.
We must all get our life right with God.
🙏🙏🙏
I forgot to include my final sentence.
Being stung is where people who do exorcisms end up having the demon attach to them. It has killed most of my friends who were doing this work thirty years ago.
It’s the reason I had cancer recently. I too get stung and suffer. By the Grace of God I’m still here.
Malachi Martin took the very difficult path of doing his ministry in the public. Publicity inflates the ego which tends to create separation from God and we become vulnerable to getting stung.
This is why I have not written books or lectures on this topic. FR is great as I can remain anonymous and share. I do not label myself an exorcist as that would be an ego identity that would separate me from God. They are done through me, not by me.
Malachi Martin died in 1999 at the age of 78 from a cerebral hemorrhage that occurred after a fall. I am very grateful to him for all that he shared with the public.
Fr. Martin was my friend. He was a genius in every sense of the word. I really miss him, especially with the current world scene. I would have loved to hear his thoughts on Francis and the corruption in the Vatican.
Jesus used two diffrrent tern to describe dark spirits. The worst spirits He call demons. They are the fallen angels and cannot be redeemed.
Jesus also spoke of “unclean spirits.” These are souls that had a physical body and went astray, recruited by the demons to embrace darkness and fear the Light. I have found that they can always be redeemed as they have the pure spark of God Essense deep within them that has been buried and denied.
Thus, while an unclean spirit can be redeemed and get back on their path to Heaven, that is not possible for a demon. Like a nail pulled from a tire and thrown back into the toad to puncture another tire, demons can only be removed and kept in abeyance.
Eventually, when the Light of God shining through you in the form of the Holy Spirit becomes bright enough, they cannot come near you as they fear the Light radiating from you.
