Watch This Ridiculous Tank Stunt At Men’s Conference Where Mark Driscoll Got Kicked Off Stage

Yesterday, we reported that Mark Driscoll was booted from the stage by the conference host, Pastor John Lindell, who interrupted him and told him he was “done.” Driscoll was criticizing the conference for having a male stripper perform on a stripper pole while ripping his shirt off and dancing in a sexually charged manner.

Unfortunately, but not unsurprisingly, Driscoll later returned to the stage with Lindell to apologize and say that he should have handled his grievances privately—a complete and total cop-out.

But also at this conference was a completely ridiculous and absurd stunt. The stunt included a person driving a tank, crushing cars, and blazing firing guns (blanks of course) through the crowd, in an effort to demonstrate “manliness.”

Lol, as much fun as that might be at a monster truck rally, pulling this nonsense at a Christian men’s conference and calling it Christianity just reeks of stupidity and insecurity. But what else would you expect from such a crowd? After all, these men were entertained by a male stripper.

Yes, everybody's favorite denomination. These guys are a real hoot. The First United Church of the Criminally Insane is some sort of renegade Lutheran offshoot. Just a good ol' boy, come as you are, non judgmental, feel good prosperity preaching (not much Bible though) which you will go back home feeling better about yourself. Other churchs want you to repent, feel remorseful and (yikes!) change your bad habits get closer to God. This denomination uses the "backdoor to Heaven" tactic let's you "ease" your way into Heaven at your pace.

I watched that video yesterday on the conference, and I know the guy made his reputation pole dancing and sword-swallowing, and I held out the possibility he really was born again...etc. etc. etc.

Then, when he pulled out the sword, stuck out his tongue and lasciviously tongued it all the way up from the handle to the point before sticking the thing down his throat, I closed the door on that.

I don’t know who or what those people are, but I know what they aren’t.

From what I have seen at those “churches”, that wouldn’t surprise me.

Driscoll is not the most conservative pastor, so when he disagrees with something, you know it’s really off.
