What happens is I either ask a question or get asked one wrt a particular topic and then I go looking. I haven't been here that long, but I have no doubt I will find many positive articles. One area I've been thinking of doing research on is the teaching and nursing orders. I hope I find that there is a resurgence going on there.

I hope I find that there is a resurgence going on there. We certainly need good teachers and nurses in this time and age, that's for sure!

Absolutely, and those are two areas of real strength for the Church both naturally and supernaturally.

I appreciate the interesting article and the ping. Since you say you are new around here, I will point out one little thing:
Please e-mail for Chuck's PERMISSION in advance, to post, reprint, or reproduce this article for any other format of publication, electronic or otherwise.
I don't want to sound like a nit-picker, but you probably should have just posted the first paragraph and a link, like we do for the LATimes and Wash Post (lawsuit -- remember?) Tsk, tsk.
Now that I've acted like one of those obnoxious sitepests, do you have any idea when this was written? Chuck's website just says copywrite 2000, 2001, 20002. Please don't take me off your ping list just because I mildly reprimanded you (I didn't scream ABUSE). Your articles are very informative, and I enjoy them very much.

This is one frightening article, narses. But I thank you for posting it.
Pinging and a bump.

From the Current Communist Goals thread:
40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.
Yikes!

Outstanding links.

I don't know. You could probably ask the Admin Moderator to pull the post and then repost it with an intorductory paragraph and a link. Of just click on the link on teh author's home page and ask the author if it's OK to post. He may be happy to give permission.
It's a very interesting article, so I hope it won't be lost.

Great links indeed!
I have a real aversion to conspiracy theories, simply because they've always seemed too convenient, somehow. But I must admit that I have occasionally wondered about this one.
Obviously, the Communists per se are long gone. But it seems all too possible that they may have cleverly poisoned the source (the seminaries). Modernism, of course, was a problem in the Church long before the left became very active in the US. But one of the things that made the Communists so effective (and made it necessary for them to be rooted out of many environments in the 1950s) was their ability to take over things that by their own nature tended to agree with them, and use them to further their own purposes.
I still think, of course, that the main responsibility for the problems of the Church lies with Satan. But just as God uses instruments, Satan does, too. And it's certainly plausible that the Communists were pretty powerful weapons, all the more so for being so covert.

When you look at the communist goals of smearing institutions, also look at the Clinton legacy. There was degradation of the highest office in this nation.(There also was an Arkansas state trooper on a Clinton related case who died from weaponized anthrax.)

As a traditional Jew, I'm deeply concerned over the plight of the Roman Catholic Church.Up front, I have to admit that, based on his past articles, I think Chuck Morse is a scaremonger.
I wonder why, if he's Jewish, he's not focusing on his own people, who largely support socialism, both in Israel and in the United States.
