I wish we could post it in the General Forum and ban the Religion forum people from mucking it up!

Kind of ironic to try and ban "Religion forum" people from talking about soldier baptisms. ;^)

I agree with you Illbay. Some dude getting baptized is not that big a deal.

Mind if I quote you incessantly on that, CTID? You do realise that Illbay considers the Pope just a "church administrator", don't you?

One soul for God is not to be taken lightly.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

No, really - I couldn't. I'm not even allowed to talk about the weather without risk of offending some posters.

Aren't you a Catholic?

If you are than how can you say baptism is no big deal?

It may well be that it is only in such a situation as they now face that these young men/women would ever see their need for the Saviour.

Thanks for the photo.

I'm just asking you to stop the weather, etc. junk and keep on the topic.

What is your purpose in disrupting some of these threads?

I really don't want to push the Abuse button on you, because once in a while you do post something worthwhile like the post above.

I'm just asking you to stop the weather, etc. junk and keep on the topic.

What is your purpose in disrupting some of these threads?

Et tu, Brute?

It's quite simple, and the explanation begins with posts 17 and 18 in this thread.

Post 17 consisted of a reponse to Illbay's "While this is a personal high for this particular soldier, that statement that it is "one of the most awesome results of this war" is stretching a point a mite". My response - post 17, now deleted - was to show a picture of a [5th Amendment] baptismal font, and the suggestion to send a [5th Amendment] [5th Amendment] reccommend in order to have him use the former.

Post 18 consisted of a reponse to drstevej's "Wrong color underoos!" comment. In my response - post 18, now deleted - I asked "will my Dr. Denton's suffice?" and posted a picture of [5th Amendment] sacred undergarments.

Both posts were removed by the moderator, literally within minutes, and stand as the only posts removed from this thread. Therefore, I have to assume that it's off-limits to show pictures of [5th Amendment] locations or clothing. I therefore made post 20 (which still stands) giving the current weather report over Utah, complete with live doppler radar image.

The Admin Moderator then replied to post 20 telling me to (and I quote) "Knock it off". I therefore proudly give my testimony that it's not even permissable to discuss the weather because it apparently offends some people of the [5th Amendment] persuasion.

...once in a while you do post something worthwhile like the post above.

And I'd be glad to post many, many other worthwhile things in this forum. But, given the above actions performed by the moderator (no doubt prompted by the usual [5th Amendment] suspects pushing the [ABUSE] button), I am restrained from offering any intellegent, informed and educated conversation, my occasional humorous banter, or even the weather.

So whenever I have something to offer in reponse to one of these threads, I instead post a reminder to everyone that not even the weather is safe to discuss with some posters without being cited for abuse.

Post 18 consisted of a reponse to drstevej's "Wrong color underoos!" comment.

Maybe if you conducted yourself with a modicum of respect, you wouldn't be in this position. To continue to act up and whine in this manner is juvenile.

Take the [FR 5th Amendment] challenge. Challenge the belief of the protected class and see how long it is before you're smacked down.

Do you consider saying "wrong color underoos" is "challenging" someone's "beliefs?"

I already dealt with that particular "protocol" here. Besides, I don't see how it's considered juvenile to post pictures of embroidered underwear, when other people post descriptions of the exposed flesh of twelve-year-old boys here without censure.

Showing a line drawing picture of the right color underoos apparently is, but not nearly as challenging as talking about the weather.
