The biggest problem right now is that she wants lesbianism to be there. The word. I tried to explain to her that just as one would not see the words "internet porn" in the bible, one will not see lesbian. Both are newer terms than biblical times.
Isn't there something in Leviticus about women lying with women being wrong? I have tried to look but cannot find it.

In post #3 - the terms "mankind" and "womankind" are referring to homosexuality. That's probably as close as you're ever gonna get to "gay", or "lesbian" in a 200 year old book.

30 years ago, gay meant "happy", if I recall.

What you said is correct. But she will never see the Truth unless our Lord opens her heart and mind to it. As you see in the Roman verses, God has given them over to their vile affections. Pray and seek the Lord with your whole heart and study His Word so you may be quick to tell others of the reason for the hope you have.

1Pe 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and [be] ready always to [give] an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
