I am furious at this decision and will fight to see it overturned by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

My prayers have been with you guys. Good luck and God bless!

My wife and I dropped off a letter today, explaining why we could no longer be a part of the Episcopal Church. We attended a non-denominational Fellowship Church that claims to make every effort to put out the word of the Bible and the Gospel of God's Grace, and we found it to be refreshing. Man has hosed about everything that God has put before him and Man seems to be incapable of devising a Religion that makes sense. The shenanigans in Minnesotta finally convinced me that religions, being man-made are suscepyible to our foibles. Gathering together in a non-denominational environment to learn/teach/worship may turn out to be the way to go. I'll pray for those that visit their perversions on religious institutions...

I don't know if I should have prefaced my post with your earlier request. I hope the information is received in the spirit of charity with which it was sent.

I can't monitor this thread today. If you have the time, can you babysit my post for me? I'll be back on-line this evening and will be able to respond to any comments then. Thanks.

About five years ago a female priest was getting a divorce from her husband. She and a male priest who was getting a divorce started seeing each other. The Bishop told both of them to knock it off. If he caught them living together, they would be out of a job as priests under him. Yet, he voted for the Gay Bishop last week, apparently. If true, a real fouled up double standard.

Few folks are 'gay' (and I assume this is true among liberal Episcopalians as well). Few 'gays' are married men who abandoned their families. Do you think perhaps it might not be a question primarily of some 'gay agenda', but one tactic in a more general attack on the traditional family?

The 'gays' have their thing, which need not impinge on the traditional family at all. But the traditional family creates a sysytem of loyalty not subordinate to the state.

Archbishop of Canterbury is going to be stunned. I hope so.
