I don’t know. There’s LOTS of dirty money available to subvert this movement. It’s like opening pandora’s box, the dirty money will make things happen that we don’t anticipate.

Stop dreaming and help crash the entire system. It can’t be reformed.

watch what you ask for. Canada got a constitution that allowed the government to do whatever they want. Do you really think the 2nd amendment would be in a new constitution. Do you think abortion will be there. I think this is will not go the way we want.

The Constitution is brilliant as written. The problem is that it is ignored by both parties.

Does anyone believe the current crop of morons and political hacks can improve on this??

Unfortunately, this is the issue:

“Three-quarters of the states must ratify any proposed amendment before it becomes a part of the Constitution.”

The likelihood of this occurring is slim to none.

The Convention of States thing has been “gaining momentum” for longer than I’ve been on FR. It’s never gonna happen. It’s a pipe dream. And honestly if it did, nothing would come out of it. Guarantee the 3 groups polled have diametrically opposed views to what the new constitution would be. They’d never agree on anything, and all leave cursing the others for being dumb.

“shows that an Article V convention is supported by:

55% of Democrats”

Gee, what would the new stalinists like to have in the Constitution? 2nd amendment - gone. 1st amendment - gone.

I propose that every twenty years the a new District Capital must move to the most demografically remote section of the country. All government functions must move there and cease to be in the previous D.C.

It is absolutely forbidden for children of elected officials to work in government. Forbidden for money from foreign owned businesses from donations to political institutions and campaigns and especially charities.

Just my 2 cents. D.C. lives in a bubble.

Repeal the 16th, 17th, and 19th Amendments. With idiots like Nancy Pelosi running the country, is why we are in the catastrophe living in now.

I've been watching this 'convention of the states' thing for a long time now, with a great deal of trepidation. Does anyone think we have people around these days nearly as forward-looking as the folks who set this country up initially?

We are a divided country. The divide is a progressive socialistic section of Godless people trying to take my country into their dark world.

Taking aim at our freedom .. The first item on their agenda is Christians.. Jesus Christ.

When TV was brought into our world.. It was frowned on as bringing the world dregs right into the living room.

They said the same thing about home computers.
They didnt like the Beetles...

Were they right about any of this?

A convention of the states is exactly why they want voter fraud enshrined into law.

This has been in the works for a long time and no evidence that it is a substantive action.
Is it time to take more individual steps since it is evident that votes no longer count? US National.
