I know Operation Christmas Card's site is about sending signed cards to the Troops. But one of our members found out that they NEED cards to send home to their families too. So that is what we are going to do. I've got a couple of boxes to take to our meeting Thursday. Have to see if I can get some more from the $$ Tree store.

The loss of Johnston was a severe blow to the Confederacy since he was followed by mediocre to incompetant commanders who could not stop the Union conquests in the West, where the war was really lost.
