There's a guy who flies a Hellcat near me.
I don't know where he 'stables' his warhorse, but he kept it a midnite blue color.

Do you have a Confederate Air Force group in your area?

Unknown.
All I know is that once in awhile during the summer this thing lands at the local county airport and then he does a few aerobatics over the Delaware Water Gap area before disappearing again.
Or he flies straight and level and orbits the area a few times.
But either way, he appears and then vanishes again.
Not sure if it's privately owned or if it's part of a warbird group.
A neighbor of mine owns and flies helicopters.
He has a UH-1 that's been re-engined and painted in blue with white stripes and he uses it as a business bird.
So it's possible the Hellcat is owned in a similar fashion.
