Now that Sam and I are in the same time zone I'm having a hard time deciding when to post my threads.

Sam will stay up til midnight so at least on the west coast the date changes for the thread posting date but I don't think I can continually stay up that late. If I post in the morning it will already be late morning back east! Arrggh. I guess I could go to bed early and get up at 4 in the morning to post!

Thanks for sharing your cousin's story.

He has two younger brothers. One served in Korea. The baby brother served during Viet Nam; however, he was stationed in Germany. His mom had fits when he was sent to Germany. No one could ever convince her that he was safer in Germany than he would be in Viet Nam. She had such bad memories of her POW older son. My older sister would take albums over to her house so my aunt could tape them and mail them to Germany. She rufused to tape Wipe Out because it had a girl in a bikini on the cover. :^)
