Good to hear.
Somewhere along the line something went wrong when we had to work five days and rest/play only two. It's backwards I tell ya!
Bent's Old Fort has been turned into a national monument and usually has some re-enacters around. It's near La Junta and is also a nice visit.
Fort Garland in the San Luis Valley has been restored and is also a nice place.
Of course, Santa Fe and Taos are fascinating places in the old towns, although the galleries weren't' there in Carson's day. :)
