That's a pretty big store.

It's really very small and as we build out the displays and counter it will get smaller. We will only have 1027 sq. ft. of retail space and the office is just 8 x 14. If we do it right it won't matter what size we are but how well we get folks to want to come in. :-)

Storage will be Sam's garage!

I like that color green! It is a beautiful green, I only wish Sam weren't colored blind so he could appreciate it. :-(

It matches the evergreens we have so many of around here.

I guess the windows make it look larger as the space goes on through the glass.

Well, sure wish I was closer I would love to come and help.
I make a good pot of coffee. :-) Course, you are taken with StarBucks, but I bet Sam would have some with me. LOL

Do you have a grand opening date yet?

We are hoping to open by Thanksgiving or December 1st at the very latest. The building owner is over a month late turning the store over to us and our build out is supposed to take 60 days. LOL. We're going to do it in less than 3 weeks if we have our way. Hey there are lights so there's no reason to stop working. ;-)

...it looks like the plan ya'll sent me.

I hope it stays that way when we lay the tile and river rock and then the build out of displays.

I'm glad to see the plastic still on the light fixtures.

LOL. I told Sam I thought we should take them off so they wouldn't melt. He knew better and we kept them on. ;-)

He sure would.

We expect to see you out here in springtime anyway. There will always be work to be done!

Oh speaking of trees

That tree will look even better as it gets bigger. Oregon is filled with trees, mostly really tall trees. We have a wetlands area about 100 yards from the store where we feed the ducks every day, sometimes more than once. It's a nice area.

I thought over time it would get better, that we were just not used to it. I'm glad I don't have to paint for a living.

On May 13, 1968, 12,234 Army National Guardsmen in 20 units from 17 states were mobilized for service during the Vietnam War. Eight units deployed to Vietnam and over 7,000 Army Guardsmen served in the war zone. Company D (Ranger), 151st Infantry, Indiana Army National Guard arrived in Vietnam in December 1968. As part of the II Field Force, the Indiana Rangers were assigned reconnaissance and intelligence-gathering missions. Operating deep in enemy territory, Ranger patrols engaged enemy units while conducting raids, ambushes and surveillance missions. "Delta Company" achieved an impressive combat record during its tour in Vietnam; unit members were awarded 510 medals for valor and service. The gallant record of Company D, 151st Infantry symbolizes the Army National Guard's performance in Vietnam.

To be fair, the responsibility rests with LBJ, who did not want to send the Guard and Reserve, figured it might cost him votes, the bastard.

Agreed.
