Wow! What a Saturday morning thread! Just when you thought "modern" medicine was still primitive, you read about something like this. Incredible odds - and that so many who were affected managed to survive.

Hope ya'll are all well and hungry today.
Here's what's cookin' at the WN household:
Pies: (I'm almost in trouble if nobody likes cream cheese)
Pear (cream cheese)
Coconut (cream cheese)
Peanut Butter chocolate (also cream cheese and could be scary I just made up this recipe about 10 PM last night LOL)
Blueberry for anybody that doesn't like cream cheese.
hehehe....yeah there's more than dessert.
Bacon Sausage Eggses and PO-TA-TO taquitos
Very mild taco meat for anybody without spicy tastebuds
frijoles
fried corn w/onion and a few mild peppers
rice with cheese - instead of Mexican rice cause I hope some cheese loving body likes that
pico de gallo
queso/frijole dip
salsa
chips
-jalapenos in case anybody wants to add a little spice to the things I tried to make mild.
(In the past I have been told that I'm not good at making things mild.... not that they aren't good... that they usually aren't mild... but I tried real hard this time for elfboy)
and if I missed on the mild - I gots cheese. :-)
hmmmmmm......

ohmygosh that sounds *so* yummy! I am waiting on the dryer, and PE went to the store for last minute got-to-haves. elf-boy is more than ready to be there already.
I printed your directions and I think we may come up through Denton. It will prolly take 2-3 hours (best guess). Can't wait!
You and me both! But I thought we only had to be good for two days? Sheeesh! Two weeks! I'd never get pinged! ;^)

I usually come through Denton and take 380 to Decatur to hit 287.... seems to cut some traffic time. Guess I coulda said that before. LOL Takes me right at 2 hours to go to Lewisville or Carrolton so you can probably calculate from that.

I am glad you think this is yummy. Take your time with the dryer/necessities and stuff. I am actually going slow at the cooking trying to take it easy on the knee so it's not like food is ready and waiting (except pies of which 2 slices are misssing.)

I got worried in the middle of the night last night. I thought, "Oh NO!!! I've packed all the toys!" LOL... and then I thought of all the empty boxes I have here waiting to be packed. ROFL... I think empty boxes are awsome toys! :-) They make houses and trains and cars and hiding places and work like blocks. :-)
P.S. After seeing those pictures of bittygirl last night, I hid thedog's bowls in the pantry. LOL
OH MY GOODNESS! I FORGOT TO PING EVERYBODY TODAY. Yikes.
