Today two fruits on the 9th circus court ruled it's ok to wear any medals you want. Lying is ok now. The Stolen Honor Act was ruled UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
EBAY has plenty of MOH's for sale!

It bothers me when other claim to have more than my $50 Million fortune, so I am not happy about this.
I have several in storage. Three purple hearts, too.
1. Wearing medals you did not earn is despicable.
2. The First Amendment protects speech and expression, even speech and expression that others find deeply offensive.
3. For generations, our brave servicemen and women have given their lives to protect our freedoms, including our right to freedom of expression.
4. We render the many sacrifices that our brave servicemen and women have made in the name of freedon meaningless if we pick and choose who can exercise their rights -- and when, where and how -- based on their apparent offensiveness.
5. I will not help to marginalize the many sacrifices of our brave servicemen and women, and I will not countenance the disregard of our precious freedom of speech and expression, by giving in to my instinctive desire to see those who wear medals they did not earn punished civilly or criminally.
This is about as popular as Muslims “having the right” to build a mosque at ground zero. They also have the constitutional right to piss on our flag and on the graves of those that died as a result of 9/11.
None of which would be a good idea but... butt they have the right to do it.
Unless you lie to an FBI agent about trumped up charges.
I agree with the court. They are frauds, but free speech allows them to be stupid. Most of these idiots are easily outed. They are humiliated and their careers ruined. I’m fine with that.

I believe the court decided correctly in accordance with the Constitution...but it sure makes me angry.
Perhaps a website that exposes all who falsely claim these medals? Publish their name in every local paper?

Who gives a dam about medals? The only way a law against wearing medals you didn’t earn makes any sense at all is if it is a military law that only applies to military uniforms worn by servicemen.
If I see a civilian wearing a medal, I laugh. If I see a career military man in full dress uniform wearing medals, i’m impressed. Those men should receive a military punishment for wearing medals they never earned. But criminal charges in civilian courts?
