Sounds like they were helping him, until he ran away. What else can the Navy do?

What else can the Navy do? She is obviously distraught. The Navy has done all they can do and he is running away from help.
I am not disagreeing with you, nor can I answer the question myself, rather I hope the focus will be on helping find him, and not side issues.
