I hear ya.
We were not to salute if uncovered, as when working on the flight line or indoors and not under arms.
The only time a soldier must salute when he is uncovered is when he's in the Pay Line and salutes the Pay Officer on pay day, but I don't think soldiers have lined up in front to the Pay Officer on pay day in over fifty years now.
No Food City close to southwest WA otherwise I’d patronize them.
Sad, that in both the commercials there is no dad.
I guess it is the norm now.
The sad fact is unless you come back with a chest full of medals or missing a couple of limbs, this country just wants you to fade into the woodwork never to be seen or heard from ever again. then the va just wants you to die real quick so they do not have to pay you or for any of your medical care that was promised by Congress so long ago.
