Many thanx, Joe. I will call those turkeys at CBS tomorrow...and my wife will call as well. And, the phone number goes out tonight to my friends and relatives.
You struck a blow for freedom. Thank you !!
As an aside, I took my first glimpse at Dan Rather the other night... for the first time in a year or so. The liberal flack looks like he has one foot in the grave. God works in mysterious ways. *S*

We should get a list of major CBS sponsors. Not just the Reagan Smear sponsors, but CBS's major sponsors.
And then we should publish that list with their phone numbers. If we start complaining to CBS's biggest sponsors, they will think twice about this.
On the otherhand, Reagan was really popular. Maybe we should let this go through and then slam the press for major reform or calls for boycott of CBS. Let that sorry lot of leftists commit suicide.

I called up and they gave me a different number handling this at 212-975-3247.
I told them that I read in the New York Daily News that Brolin's manager Jeff Wald responded to Michael Reagan's criticism by saying that Micheal Reagan was a second rate radio host who got there by being a member of the Lucky Sperm Club.
I asked her if they were aware that Michael Reagan was adopted.
To: ragnarocker
I just called... and the person who answered the phone will register my complaint...
Let's keep the pressure up. Ronald Reagan is one of my favorite people... He deserves better than James Brolin as Howdy Doody portraying Ronald Reagan.

I just called the CBS number. The lady on the other end told me they were "real busy taking complaints today". I simply told her they would lose me as a viewer if they ran the mini-series. I told her I stopped watching their news and I can stop watching their shows as well.
She was very polite and said she was sorry I would not be a viewer of their network anymore. Sounds like they are dead set on suicide.

I spoke to a gentlemen that told me he would pass on my opinion:
At this time in history, that our country did not need a movie that unfairly smears one of the greatest presidents ever. That when I found out James Brolin, who is married to one the most politically divisive celebrities, Barbara Striesand, is portraying maybe the most beloved REPUBLICAN president, I thought Barb to be rather "smug." Now I know why! (That fact alone should tell them something isn't right!!!) That I do not watch your news due to bias and and I will not watch your shows. I will be contacting sponsors next.

Done. A small gesture to support the greatest President of the 20th century...
Why do I think we are fighting on two fronts: the war on America bashers here and the one abroad? Can we handle it? Sure thing!

Conservative zealot checking in. Called, freeped and looking for other ways to press the "right winged agenda". I did e-mail sponsors from the dark side of homeschooling programs on CBS earlier this month. :}

I called up and they gave me a different number handling this at 212-975-3247. wELL, IF THAT'S THE SPECIAL NUMBER THEY SET UP FOR COMPLAINTS IT WOULD BE WISE TO CALL OTHER NUMBERS AS WELL. The purpose is to jam up their normal phone lines, not special ones.

The sad part is that they interpret complaints as good for business.
