They will only be successful if every single person who wants Merry Christmas to continue stands up and fights for the same thing.
I put Merry Christmas on EVERYTHING. For anyone to complain about this is ludicrous and its about time we stop bowing to these small groups who want to kill all our traditions.
Glad to hear there are people out there who are challenging all of this. They need everyone's help and I think they will get it. I'm personally tired of these miserable people wanting to make everyone else m iserable.
Misery loves company is soooo true...especially in today's whacked out world.
Hatred for Christians is at an all time high in this country. We might as well start claiming our own territory and planning for secession. At minimum we need to remove all our kids from the public school system. The Christmas issue is just a minor sympton of a likely terminal disease. It's been a long time coming.
BUMP
Each year the Knights of Columbus supports the "Keep Christ in Christmas" campaign to remind people that Christmas is above all else a holy day to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. To help deliver the "Keep Christ in Christmas" message, the Order offers a variety of posters and other materials as well as public service announcements (PSAs) for radio and television.
Catholic Ping - let me know if you want on/off this list
(Seriously... all the best in this effort to save our heritage.)
BUMP! And Merry Christmas to everyone in Elk Grove, Dan. 8~)
ANOTHER BUMP There are a lot of Christians on FR who want their holiday back.
More than boycott a few big department stores we should vow to do our Christmas shopping at small, locally owned businesses (or websites) which sell goods crafted by our fellow Americans. These small retailers tend not to be anti-Christmas as are the big guys and their products are often unique.
Merry Christmas Alert!
I don't think they're going far enough. I think if all Christian shoppers would spend one Christmas shopping only at small Christian retail stores, it would end this nonsense immediately! The gifts would be more meaningful, people wouldn't overspend and go into debt, and we wouldn't be giving our money to stores that belittle our faith! Please check out this website

This truly is important, just like "one nation, under God" is in our Pledge. It's all about lording a totalitarian god over us, instead of us being free to worship, or not worship, GOD. We must fight these anti-God Marxist terrorists every time they file a lawsuit--and we must go on the offensive and put them out of the extortion business. GRRRR!

Manuel Zammarano has formed the Committee to Save Merry Christmas (search) to protest the fact that big retailers profit from Christmas shopping dollars but refuse to mention the holiday by name. His group has boycotted Federated Department Stores Inc. (search), which owns Bloomingdales and Macys, for collecting Christmas cash without giving Christmas credit for all the end-of-year gift buying. Federated issued a statement saying phrases like Seasons Greetings and Happy Holidays embrace all religious and ethnic celebrations that take place in November and December and are more appropriate for the many diverse cultures in America today. Macys also points out that it features Santa in its parade and plays Christmas music in its stores. But Zammarano says that such gestures mean little as long as retailers give in to political correctness. The word Christmas was nowhere to be found in Vons or Staters Brothers markets.
