I don't think Kerry wants her as a Veep as much as he used to. If Hillary wants to run as VP, what Kerry wants will not matter.

Possibly true. I don't think the Clintons have divested themselves of any more control than they have had to. Bill would quite possibly become a 'shadow president'.
