Special Presentation - White House Christmas 2004
Episode HWHC2-S04
HGTV is stepping inside the White House with dozens of decorators, volunteers and staffers to find out just what it takes to decorate the home of the President and the First Lady for the holidays.
The White House chief usher, the chief florist and the executive pastry chef take viewers through the exhilarating three-day process of decking the halls of the "People's House."
What's this year's theme? Go to our White House Christmas 2004 package to find out in our exclusive online video.
You'll also find video snippets from past White House holidays, plus details on all the White House holiday decorations, local events and more as our nation's capital dresses up for the holidays.

She would have spoken in five languages and fallen into the tree.
But I will get to see this in just a little over two weeks...live, up close and personal. :-)
Thanks for the ping. Wouldn't want to miss this.

Barnie cam?
I loved the Barney cam last year!!
The decorations are spectacular, would love to be a volunteer there!!
My small house probably has as many decorations per square foot as they do since I'm a Christmas nut!!
Always looked forward to the gingerbread house design by the White House pastry chef who just retired, Roland Mesnier. I just discovered yesterday that you can buy his cakes at Collin Street Bakery.

Allegra, I'm so happy that you are coming home. Looks like you won't make it by Christmas, but close. I wish all of our men and women could be home for Christmas. Their sacrifice involves so many things we take for granted. There are no thanks that will suffice. God love you all and bless you with every blessing.
