YUP, WE ELECTED A CONSERVATIVE ALRIGHT...

NOT. Well, all you Bushies, remember how we chastised CLINTON for his re-definition of the English Language? What is different between Bush and Clinton on redefinitions? Now we have a President who is changing the language, calling AMNESTY regularization!!

What is different other than the attempt to register these illegals as republicans instead of democrats??

Oh, I FORGOT!! I GOT MY TAX REFUND, I SHOULD SHUT UP!!!!

Ahhh, could you please point out where any of these illegal aliens are being registered to vote. Most particularly the direction of President Bush.

You said it! ;-)

W's new best friend, Vincente Fox, needs to get rid of some of his riff-raff. So, the answer is send them here?!? Just what we need, cast-offs from Mexico. The ones worth having are going through the process already in place. Anyone who legally comes to this country and gainfully employs themselves with hopes of getting citizenship is welcome here in my mind. This is a punch in the face to any immigrants who are legally trying to gain citizenship.

We are getting Mexico's trailer trash! Ever notice that extremely few doctors, lawyers, or engineers are illegal immigrants? We get lettuce pickers, fast food workers, and janitors! Nice move Dubya!

"...or the PROMISE OF A JOB..." ?
Why not those who believe they might eventually get work if they stand on that street corner long enough hollering "yo trabajando para comer" ?

At the request of President Bush, the Senate passed S. 778, the Section 245(i) extension bill by unanimous consent on Thursday night. Section 245(i) permits illegal aliens who have established an employment or familial relationship while in the U.S. illegally to adjust their status with the INS after payment of a $1,000 fee. It also allows illegal aliens to avoid the State Department background checks for other immigrants coming from overseas.

What may I ask do we have borders for and why may I ask to we have a military?

George the second is smelling more and more like George the first each and every day.

At the time of his approach to Red China, Richard Nixon (a REPUBLICAN for those of you from Rio Linda) was approached by an internationalist businessman who was literally salivating over the prospect of access to the BILLIONS of potential Chinese slave laborers and “customers” (although this rocket scientist had apparently not yet concluded that the Chinese people would be hard pressed to buy his stuff without MONEY!!!!).

This businessman was concerned that Nixon had been SAYING that he was cooling to the idea of an opening to Red China to quell the uprising within the then very much more America-First rank and file Republican Party.

As reported years later, Nixon told the businessman
“DON’T LISTEN TO WHAT WE SAY: WATCH WHAT WE DO!”</FONT COLOR=RED>

It is my strong memory of THAT event which prompts me to post this graphic!

AS YOU READ THIS, IT APPEARS THAT BUSH, DASCHLE AND OTHERS ARE WELL DOWN THE ROAD TO USING THIS PAGE FROM THE NIXON PLAYBOOK!

Look, America – the IDEA not the PLACE – can only continue to exist if we heed the advice of the founding fathers (paraphrased here in the current vernacular for residents of Rio Linda), to wit:
“The Founding Fathers have determined that failure to WATCH politicians – ALL POLITICIANS (even those you may worship!) – is dangerous to the security of this nation and to the freedoms we paid such a heavy price to TRY to leave you and your children.” “Government is not reason. Government is not eloquence. It is FORCE. And, like fire, it is a DANGEROUS SERVANT AND A FEARSOME MASTER.”

That from that notorious tinfoil hat wearing, radical wing-nut, George Washington.

"It also allows illegal aliens to avoid the State Department background checks" Very disturbing. Shouldn't this be some kind of national security issue? How many times have we been told to expect terrorism on American soil? What's to stop a foreign power bent on wreaking havoc in the US, from enlisting some of these immigrants to help.

The Democrats are in on this too. In fact, it looks like Senator Kennedy is one of the co-sponsors of this bill. Here's an excerpt from the Congressional record:

This action allows Norma's family--and hundreds of thousands of other families--to stay together. S . 778 , introduced by Senators HAGEL and KENNEDY, extends the period of time for eligible people to file their petitions for relief with the Immigration and Naturalization Service and the Department of Labor for one year.

More text can be found at (i hope this works)Link

I'm a Bush supporter but I don't agree with him on this one either. But it's not all just Bush. The Demos are on this bandwagon and see millions of potential voters too!

Com'n RB, you're not being fair. President Bush is a Republican AND he wears a coat and tie in the oval office.

Why do you insist on placing substance over symbolism? We all know the 'pubbies need every vote they can get to defeat the evil Democrats. Who cares if they have to buy some of 'em with this regularization thing? Surely you agree it's more important to have a Republican in the White House, regardless of what he actually DOES?

They are not being registered to vote. Most of these currently undoccumented workers will never become citizens. Many dont want to be. What the legislation does is give them the right to hold a green card, work in the United States and travel back and forth between the US and Mexico.

It eliminates the fear that someone will turn them in, forcing them to leave the country and give up all their possessions and possibly be separated from their kids who are US citizens by birth.

is changing the language, calling AMNESTY regularization!!

He also calls 'breaking and entering' into our country 'family values'.

But, oh well, he believes that Jesus Christ can be bundled together with a bunch of 'political philosphers and social thinkers'.

Dear all you monkeys on this thread:

1. Conservatism is not dead, nor is it even unhealthy.

2. The Republican party's weaknesses are in fact, modern Republicans, who have not elected people with spines.

3. Rather than foam at the mouth and become spastic at the notion that you actually think "Amnesty" will come to pass, remember that a recent gallup poll found roughly 70% of Americans are AGAINST this concept.

More likely than not, it is a bluff, similar to the one W used during the "Election Reform" hoopla. As conservatives, we need to continue to say NO, and refuse to cowtow to Vincente Fox. W could well be trying to keep the man in office a while longer...

Either way, you ladies need to stop getting your panties in a bunch every time something W does isn't perfectly textbook, and trust that you voted for the right man UNTIL he betrays that trust.

Of course, most of you griping and pissing and moaning on this thread are likely either libs or Libertarians anyway. You libs can kiss my a--, and you Libertarians, RELAX.
