The story of 9/11 when my day just begun.

9/11/01 - About 7 am west time...

I woke up that morning and jumped in the shower. After I was cleaned up I made some coffey and turned the news on. To find on every channel saying we are under attack. I had no idea what to think when I saw a building on fire. There was a guy with a camera walking around about 4 blocks away from the twin towers asking people what just hit the building. People had no idea it was a plane. Lots of them thought it was a missle. It was that minute that he looked up with the camera and saw the second plane hit, it was all live. I was glued to the tv, completely late for work. Another plane hits the pentagon, and another headed for the white house. Few minutes later I get a phone call, it was my brother. I just than remembered he was on a flight to come visit me. That call was from his cell phone on that airplane. He was telling me someone has hijacked the airplane, and he was hiding in the bathroom in the back of the plane. After that I heard nothing. The phone was completely silent. Few minutes later, I look over at the tv, and it says plane went down in Pennsylvania. That second I felt like I was dead. I'll never forget that day, that call. I'll never forget my brother.

what a moving story. I am so sorry for your loss. That was the plane on which Todd Beamer said " Let's Roll".....right? What courage it took for them to divert the plane.
