IF MADISON, WISCONSIN IS INVADED, IS IT WORTH DEFENDING?

Here is a link to the story --- MADISON SCHOOL BOARD BANS PLEDGE, STAR SPANGLED BANNER

When I read the story, I thought it had to be from the ONION or another humor site. It had to be a FReeper just spoofing us. But it wasn't.

In something that epitomizes what the political left has done to this nation since the 60s, the Madison School Board banned -- no, didn't say that it would be optional -- they banned the pledge of allegiance and the singing of the Star Spangled Banner in their school system.

So, the question has to be asked. If Madison is invaded by Arab terrorists, is it worth taking up arms to defend them? Perhaps we could allow the terrorists to play with them awhile before we kick them out. If they destroyed the town, and particularly the Communist University, we could start over.

I think I'd let the Arabs have the town for about two weeks. Maybe the women then wouldn't think that right wingers were all that bad. The more I think about it, I might give them a month.

I keep wondering if Madison might be more comfortable, oh, say, maybe in Canada or somewhere else less American...

Madison isn't worth defending.

The Dells however, are worth defending.

NO. I wouldn't want people to think I approved of everything the city of Madison does. (to paraphrase that idiot teenage girl)

I would say not only let them occupy for a month or two but supply them with arms and advisors and a "hit list" including the names of the school board members.

The Madison elite insists on practicing their right of free speech...but don't believe it's worth defending.

they banned the pledge of allegiance and the singing of the Star Spangled Banner in their school system.

It's unbelievable how the schools do everything in their power to hurt the nations children.
Right now, the kids need these things for security, and the damn school is waving the white flag of surrender!!!
Parents should yank those kids out of there ASAP before any more damage is done to the poor souls.
May the schools reap what they sow someday!

H*ll, I'd consider wrapping a towel around my head and helping!

Seriously though, we moved away from there soon after the election, to a conservative area in the center of the state. Life is sooo much better away from that socialist cesspool.

Good idea. A caller on Al Rantel's show in L.A. just suggested cutting off federal funds. That is a great idea.

I had to travel to Madison last week. I had heard stories...I supposed that they were embellished somewhat....

Nothing could have prepared me for what I saw. The grand parade of academicly endorsed transvestites, gay/lesbian groups, transgendered lunatics, and just completely unproductive advocacy groups scurrying about like lemmings without the reward of cliffs was just too sureal for my daughter to stomach. She requested that we not spend the night as planned. She suggested we manuever our GMC diesel long bed through the mopeds, Geo's, and Yugo's, and put as much interstate between us and them as quickly as possible. I really am not looking forward to getting her into the UW system. Hillsdale College is sounding better and better every day.

Ever watch an NHL game between say Montreal and Detroit in Montreal? Yep. They play both anthems. Seems our Canadian friends have more in common with Americans than those people n Madison.

And the liberals want the entire country to be like that! It's what they refer to as "utopia."
