Dr. Clyde Lynn has met plenty of pilots in his long career as an airman, naval flight surgeon and Federal Aviation Administration medical examiner. They're usually a collegial, jocular bunch -- exchanging information, stories, scuttlebutt. But right from the start, Zacarias Moussaoui was a puzzle.

When Lynn gave him a physical on March 1 prior to the start of flight training at nearby Airman Flight School in Norman, Okla., Moussaoui submitted a form saying he had been rejected for military service. Then he crossed it out when Lynn asked about it. The form also said Moussaoui had a commercial pilot license, but he was signing up for a beginner's flying course.

Very interesting article.

Another one who was studying crop dusters and wind patterns.

I have been reticent to ascribe the antrax stuff to the bin Ladin crew, but there are just too many coincidences.

And in the wake of the Sept. 11 attacks, a wave of 14 arrests in Europe broke up a plot to bomb the U.S. Embassy in Paris that was centered on a cell of the Takfir group headed by Djamel Beghal, a former worshiper at those same mosques. Beghal, detained two months earlier after leaving Afghanistan, had told French investigators that he had been ordered by a top bin Laden lieutenant to set the plot in motion. One of the men arrested, according to British press reports, had lived with Moussaoui in London.

I guess the Takfir settled their differences with bin Laden. If you think Bin Laden is extreme - some Muslims want to kill him because he's soft

I guess Egypt and Sudan can expect visits...

"To be honest, he wore jeans, he liked music. ..He loved Bruce Springsteen.”

AHA! I am starting to get it now!

This is ominous. It reminds me of what some in DEA have said about narcotics-traffickers: there is no longer a clear hierarchy but more like a plate of spaghetti in which one strand is "connected" in various ways to others, which are in turn connected to others, which are connected to others, etc. etc. I hope those in government are starting to realize this - I know Cheney has made allusions to this in stating that this war "may not be over in our lifetimes". All the more need to educate the American people, seal off our borders and deport non-citizens of ALL nationalities. I suspect that Bush, Cheney, et al realize at this point the depth and severity of what is facing us but are not providing this information to the public because of the likelihood of mass lynchings on the part of American citizens. I hope this policy doesn't turn on them in the long run... I know we keep getting "hints" from our president and vice-president that there are very likely more attacks to come.

So far, however, there is no indication that Moussaoui -- or any of the others -- have provided important cooperation about the origins or planning of the Sept. 11 operation.

I find the SILENCE the MOST ominous.

I find the SILENCE the MOST ominous.

I find it ominous for the reason that we are so PC that this scum can remain silent. The CIA has been given Carte Blanche yet these suspects are protected by our system. Couldn't we arrange a transfer of his location which results in him getting "lost" temporarly?

Agreed!!!!!!!!!

If this was Israel they would have clamped a pair of rusty jumper-cables to their testicles by now......and given them some direct current-inducement from a Sears Die Hard.

Some law enforcement professionals tie him in with intelligence obtained after Sept. 11 suggesting that as many as six hijackings may have been planned.

Lots and lots of details in this article, including Oklahoma links and bank transfers.

"Moussaoui is indecipherable..." Is that so? If we can't learn it's time to "convince" these criminals to tell all that they know (for you Democrats in West Palm Beach that means BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY) then we deserve what will surely come.

They're silent about the details, but Muslims have never been silent about their ultimate goal of destroying everything they think is zionist and taking over the US and making an Islamic world.

ya know, with the POTUS signing an executive order that says "do what it takes" - we can put this guy on a CIA aircraft, fly him over international waters and go to town.

If this prisoner isn't talking we need a new director of the F.B.I.--ASAP.

Just take a couple of the less interesting prisoners, have them say they refuse to answer any questions, wrap them in porkfat, and shoot them in the head.

Play the video of this execution to this prisoner and wrap him in pork-fat.

Then begin the interrogation.

There's been some news in our local Pittsburgh paper about a Muslim immigrant to this area who was being investigated for having a flight simulator in his apartment, who had a pic of Osama on his wall, and who was living with a local "Christian" girl who he had converted to Islam.

Sounds like the modus operandi of a terrorist--blend in with the local population by cohabiting with a local girl, and rely on the doctrine of respect for diversity to protect you.

"They say they have 700 in custody, and that makes you feel good.”

The last I heard the count was at 803.

Some fat homely "Christian" girls are so desperate and lonely for a man, they will sleep with anyone who offers. They'll even marry these guys and then cry when their babies are "kidnapped" to an Islamic country.
