"This is not a film about Republicans or Democrats," Thomason told the Hollywood Reporter. "Rather, it's an insightful story that looks at the fringe elements of our society and their effect on the modern political process . . . how these elements influenced our national news media regarding the events and circumstances of Bill Clinton's administration." I can't wait to see the Monicagate scandal mentioned and the Juanita Broaderrick rape scandal mentioned and the "nose like a vacuum cleaner" drug scandal mentioned and the WACO tragedy mentioned and the Elian Gonzalas scandal mentioned and the Bosnia screw-up mentioned and the Pardongate scandal mentioned and the....
Man, I can't WAIT for this documentary!!!

Too funny. Billy Jeff is watching in
horror at the deserved love, approval and admiration received from the public by a
real president.
You don't see Hollyweird trying to prop up W. W can stand on his own, and Clixon never could.

That would be you, wouldn't it?..... arsehole.

Yeah, this constant effort to claim anyone who is not totally for whatever then becomes "fringe" is getting very tiresome. Is that "fringe" really responsible for whatever percentage of votes in the last presidential election?
Here are some much better topics for documentaries, and I would truly be interested in seeing these films:
(1) "Hillary Clinton Explains It All: Why She Never Bothered to Issue a Public Apology to the 'VRWC' After Falsely Accusing Such Americans on National Television of Creating a Fake Story About Her Husband and Monica"
(2) "Bill Clinton Explains It All: How in the World a Rhodes Educated 'Leader of the Free World' Could Find a Thong of an Intern More Interesting Than the Problems Facing the Modern World, Including the Impovished Nations of the World"
(3) "Hillary and Bill Explain It All: How and Why They Keep Their Marriage a Marriage, Despite So Many Reasons To Split"
Those three docs would be of interest to me, because I really don't know why Senator Clinton never bothered to apologize after she learned of the falsity of her public accusation against American voters, or why Bill Clinton's intellectual curiosity took a hike for so long, or why or how they are able to stay together in marriage.
But a doc about how they intend to blame all of their problems on a substantial number of other people in America, excluding themselves, is not going to get me to open my pocketbook. It sounds to me like they missed the boat on the real stories.

Re: LONGTIME Clinton pals Linda Bloodworth-Thomason and Harry Thomason
Also:
Dear Linda and Harry,
In case you lurk here -- I think you are both very talented filmmakers, but I am well aware of the fact you are both former teachers.
Why can't you ever utilize your filmmaking skills to focus on some of the serious problems facing American teachers, American students and other Americans concerned about education?
Why is that topic so boring and off-limits to you?
Why can't you use your skills to improve the field you spent such a substantial amount of time in yourselves?
It is very upsetting to me that you never bothered to turn Hollywood's spotlight on the very real drama of this nation's educational system, even though you have knowledge about teaching and access to Hollywood.
Maybe I will have to do it someday, since you seem unwilling to step away from Bill Clinton long enough to do so.
Sincerely,
summer

Well, thank you for reading my post. What I wrote is the truth, as I know it right now. And, sometimes the truth hurts.
They want teachers to vote for the Dem party, campaign for it, contribute to it, but -- where is the support from the Dem Party for teachers? Where are the films by this crew about teachers or students? Where are the documentaries about education? How about just ONE doc?
Everything for teachers with this party seems to be either MISSING IN ACTION or AWOL. When more Dem teachers realize it, they are going to leave this party in droves -- and hopefully, they will still vote, instead of losing interest altogether in the system.
I wish Linda and Harry would log onto FR and chat on this thread, and explain to me why all their substantial talent, contacts and resources never found the time to focus on teachers and students in this country, despite these teacher/filmmakers' LONGTIME careers as teachers. I would very much like to know.

You're trying to give me a stroke, aren't you? Don't deny it; I know it's true!!!!!! When Klintoon's name is mentioned in the same sentence with VRWC,
FR goes into a collective collapse. Please, just hang in there, we're all in the same fix.

Never could figure out why teachers in Oklahoma keep voting in DemonRATS into the state legislature then complain they don't make enough money. I guess it hasn't dawned on them that as long as the RATS control both houses here they will never see a large raise............ and they are teaching our kids.
Boycott any advertiser who would help in this fantasy film. For that matter, any program that these two have anything to do with.

LOL! Let them try to rebuke the "Hunting of The President"...
Haven't decided if the Investigative Documentary called "The Clinton Chronicles" should be shown 'before' or 'after' their version of things.
"THE CLINTON CHRONICLES"...don't forget, ya'll...

re your post #32 -- I could never figure out why after 8 years of a Dem in the White House, nothing really changed for teachers: no professional profile, no leadership to increase salaries, no interstate teaching certificates and on and on it goes. Nothing. I am glad Laura Bush is raising the profile of teachers. And, now, for the first time in a while, I am hopeful about better things to come for teachers -- and for students -- in the long run.

I started to say that we, The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, are not done yet.
But, you know what? Slick and Hitlery don't need any help in destroying themselves -- they are doing a fine job on their own.
All we have to do is let nature take its course, and Slick and Hitlery will destroy themselves for us and in front of us.
Well, er --- we could nudge 'em a bit here and there! LOL!

Same could be said about the nitwit who wrote the article about if gore were President how different things would be and 9/11 would of never happened. Well, gore was the VP for 8 years and did nothing while in office and the same goes for X42. What would gore do in the last 8 months that he could of done in the last 8 years? The RATS will always blame someone else for their failures......it's a natural thing, ya know.
My sister is a teacher and I may have to ask her the question: "Why do so many of her fellow teachers vote for RATS year after year just to get nothing but hollow promises". Would any RATS voting teacher like to answer this one.

Hmmmm, Billybob (may I call you Billybob, Sir?). I believe that you may have covered just about all of it. So nice to see a southern gentleman heah.
To: Howlin
Howlin, honey, now here - sit back and put this nice cold cloth on your forehead, heah. This is just about those nasty ole hollywood types trying to be..., well, I'm not quite sure what they are out there, but it's not something we should even give credence to. They are still living in the past and just don't know anything about the now and the future. Tsk, tsk, Gracious Goodness - getting in a tizzy over nothing chile.
