Almost all the way down the line, when you read reports of Taleban operations, philsophy, method of justice, etc. they have a strikingly eery similarity to the Khmer Rouge of Pol Pot's infamy in Cambodia.

Striking similarities.

You make a very good point. Yes, the similarities are striking.

Yes. Pol Pot! Bougassa! Idi Amin! Hitler! Stalin! The Inquisition! Imperial Rome! bint Laden! Al-Qaida! The Taliban! Manson! Speck! Gacey! Ted Bundy! The horrors that history failed to record! The list goes on and on and on!

There is no atrocity so horrible that some human being would not commit it.

Anything you can imagine--someone will do--and many more things that you cannot imagine!

"The true criticism of Neville Chamberlain is that he could not really imagine a man like Hitler or a party like the Nazis."
--Robert Conquest. Reflections of a Ravaged Century. Introduction.

One of the worst things about "Liberals who have Good Intentions" is that they cannot imagine and refuse to believe the endless depths that human depravity can reach. Well meaning Liberals are The Blind demanding to lead The Seeing.

The Neville Chamberlains of the world are among its most dangerous citizens. If they were satisfied with hiding their heads in the sand, their stupidity would matter little. It's when they take it upon themselves to force their stupidity on everyone else that they and their "Good Intentions" become dangerous.

--And this from a man who loves people--passionately and deeply--believes in them--knows that we will prevail!

To see it all and still love--that is really love. Right?

Maybe Tojo in Korea and China?

There is an interview in the (german) Spiegel with a german reporter who has studied the Khmer Rouge and recently visited the Taliban. His findings are the same. They also train children to do the killings.

But the frightning thing about this is that the majority of the 1 billion muslims worldwide are in support of these monsters.
