I, for one, hope it has a huge effect on the immigration free-for-all. We have to stop this river of terrorists entering our country--somehow. Bush offered a good start, but there's still that southern border (especially) to be worried about. Literally hundreds--maybe thousands--of illegals pour into our country every day, and not all of them are Mexicans.

The immigration issue is a good measure of how deeply our society is in the grip of a PC psychosis. The fact that we did not expel all middle eastern non-citizens within 48 hours of the 9/11 attacks, halt all immigration, and lock-down our borders with the military (as would have happened at any previous time in American history up until about 20 years ago) shows just how powerful the coma is.

I actually believe that there are large numbers of people in this country who believe that it is better to continue to suffer mass causualties in terrorist attacks than to seem "intolerant of diversity".
