"I have a feeling your wallet will soon have more photos than money" With five kids of our own, three of whom are on their own in college and starting out (meaning they can use some help here and there), I am afraid we have long since passed into the very mode of operation you describe!
But worth every dime and second of it!

Sometimes it is important to be reminded, in as we experience all of this upheavel, that there are some things a pure as the driven snow, and crystal clear.Absolutely and we fail to notice it in our everyday hectic schedule, especaily at these troubled times. Sometimes it takes someone else to share their experiences with us to make us realise that. Thanks once again.

Went through there about 7 AM on Monday.
Had stopped and slept for about 6 hours between Ft. Pierre and Wall the night before.
We'll have to take a rain check for the next time we're through. It is always a real pleasure to get into the Dakotas or Nebraska on the way home ... starts feeling more like the West ... more comfortable ... more free. At least to me.

Well, my mug has been out there a few times what with Klamath, Jarbidge, 50 Million Round March, March for Liberty and all ... and with a mug like mine, it's good to see that it's not the dominant gene in the rising generation.
Like I said, they get the looks from their mom!

Good looking Grandson, and rest of family too.

Don't we all have such stories?
I could go into detail about one such occurance when I was driving and my wife was changing one of our daughters next to me. When the diaper was down and the legs were pulled back to get her cleaned ... she picked thst moment to cut loose and needless to say, myself, the driver's window, the sterring wheel, etc. got thoroughly doused in unpleasant, runny matter.
Had to stop at the first service station and literally hose down the area to clean it off. LOL! We laugh about that now ... and the wife laughed then until she cried ... and after an unpleasent moment or two, so did I!

We cut up to US 212 after stopping at Devils Tower.
I like that drive across there, over to Crow Agency and the Custer Battlefield.
Keep the faith!
To: Jeff Head
Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures! You are truly blessed!

Cute little guy you got there. Try to get out there as often as you can. Little boys love their granddads.
To: Angelique
Thanks Angelique. I'm looking forward to the time he is old enough to do a little fishing and mountain exploring.
His parents hope to be back out west by then.
Traditional family values and raising a child up in the way they should go (good work ethic, honor, integrity, love of God, understanding of liberty, etc.), these things keep America strong. My folks did it for me, I am bound to do it for mine.

Great report! On another subject, I've been meaning to tell you how much I liked your WTC tribute page -- it's very well put together.
