Congratulations, indeed. Now go get some rest while someone else is taking care of him. This may be your last good night of sleep for a while.

Phys - time for you to say one more
"THANK YOU" prayer for your precious son.
Keep your camera handy for when your better-half is ready to join you all in a family picture. We'd love to see your beautiful family together!
Congratulations and blessings to you, and the new mother.

That candy corn hat is cool! Congrats Physicist. You appear to have a great family, including the newest member, Jake.

I did that nine months ago. (ducks) I thought we were giving you the thumbs up here, not talking about ducks or cheese or moose or anything like that.

We have good news and we have bad news.
The good news is that Physicist and Mrs. Physicist had a son today.
That bad news is -- he's a chemist!

Cute boy, but lose the hat.
Our son has brought us so much happiness that I can hardly list all the ways. He and his wife have two daughters and they give us even more happiness. We thank God in the Name of Christ every day for them.
Neat things for dads to do:
1. Let your child be a passport to do all the things you wanted to do as a child, or to live over again. Firestations are great. Military hardware. Boats. Ships. Museums. Parks. Movies. Video games (my son and I financed the video game industry with our quarters, playing Space Invaders - I moved, he shot.)
2. Tell your child a story every night before he goes to sleep. Read him stories every night when he is a little older. (You will never have a better audience.)
3. Use every auto trip to teach your child something, as long as he is interested.
4. Homeschool.
5. Rejoice every time he spills something, ruins something, breaks something. He is healthy, active, and curious. Two of our children were never strong enough to do that. One dog can do more damage than 5 children and we seldom get angry with dogs for long.

His first words were, "Hi Mom and Dad!, So, how come I don't have any teeth?"

Congratulations Kevin! Jacob is such a blend of Mom and Dad. Give my best to Mrs. Physicist and tell her she does good work!

Congratulations on the birth of your son. Looks like he has two big sisters who are anxious to get their hands on him. They will be mommy helpers I'm sure, until he starts getting into their things. Two pretty little girls.
You have a lovely family. You are blessed.

That bad news is -- he's a chemist!LOL, that would fit. Chemistry is the family trade, in fact. I'm the black sheep.
