I just thought of something......
I was using a different computer last fund raiser...
I've since moved that one out to the barn...
I was in the process of building a new puter last fund raiser....
The new one is the one I'm on now....
I'll run out to the barn in a few and fire that box up...
I'll bet that's when those cap pics are :)
(Yes. they are all networked together....
But the one in the barn is not on right now)
To: palo verde
51%? 51%? WOW!!!!!
To: glock rocks
LOVE those monthlies!

To: palo verde
grampa did good. he sure did. and my guess is that group contains a bunch of folks
who can contribute more than the $5 per month grampa dave used
to calculate 5000 freepers...
so, this is even better news than it first appears.
To: Fiddlstix
Ok, I'll bite. So who uses the barn computer? The horses or the cows? (o:
Did you start that whole Gateway thing?
To: 2ndMostConservativeBrdMember

GO Arizona, you can beat PA
Over Thanksgiving, I went antiquing.
In this one shop, I sat in an old easy chair, and noticed on the end table some old magazines. I picked up one and read it.
It was the post-election special edition of Newsweek, from 1976.
Boy, have we conservatives come a long way since then. We were the minority of the Republican party, and the Republican party was hopelessly (so it seemed) in the minority in Congress.
There was an article listing who might be a contender for the Republican nomination in 1980. The first one listed was Reagan, with the following being the entirety of the comments on him: "Only the most hard core of believers thinks the aging Reagan will be a factor in 1980." All the rest were typical NorthEast liberal Republicans.
Now, we are the majority within the Republican party (even if we are still frustrated by the "moderate" aka liberal Republicans), we control the House and are at near-parity in the Senate, and we have a conservative in the White House.
We have made tremendous progress, and Free Republic is helping keep the momentum going, even through the setbacks.
God bless Free Republic.
To: Vermonter
Did you heat the barn roof so you don't have that snow on it problem this year?

So far I've had no complaints.... LOL
If you're going to put one in a barn...
It is a good idea to "protect" it.
I have mine in an old "drop top desk". J
(Along with the telephone, note pads, etc.)

"New doggies or new pictures? You're doggies are sooooooooo cute!" New pictures of my old doggies. They're family. (My brother was visiting once at feeding time and he said my doggies eat better than he did, lol.)
