Thanks John.

I heard the show today and I'm happy as hell that Goldberg had the full hour....I was riveted....Felt as if I was listening in on the media culture's equivalent of the Nixon "18 minute" tapes.....Nothing like getting the goods from an "insider" and finding the peace of knowing that you were RIGHT all along about these creeps.

Know what I mean?

Though I am happy Goldberg has publicly revealed what most of us have known for years I do not expect mainstream media to change its reporting... and that's fine. Mainstream media was purposefully infiltrated decades ago by committed bolsheviks who's main purpose was to divide the American public while propagandizing the socialist agenda. They've done so well for so long that to them there simply is not another viewpoint. American patriots are, in their eyes, pitiful; Christians are the enemy, our Founding Fathers were a group of slave-owning despots, our Constitution is a "living" document and therefore subject to myriad interpretations according to the times/culture. They portray American history as capitalistic imperialism... I could go on and on. I have long said that if we Americans rise in righteous rebellion against an established tyranny we would do well to remember the role the media played in establishing that tyranny.

I thought the most interesting (and scary) thing Goldberg said was that most in the media were not real liberals. He said he could respect a real liberal because they have principles and often make sacrifices to live by those principles. While most in the media just think the way they do because it's their "reality" (I'm paraphrasing here, I don't remember his exact words); they know no other "side". The example was used of the woman who was surprised that Nixon won the election; she said "I don't know ANYBODY who voted for Nixon", though he won 49 states.

Reminds me of many of my liberal friends driving big gas-guzzling SUV's while continually preaching "Save the Environment" and wouldn't drive that big SUV through a poor black neighborhood if their life depended on it. That some of them would actually admit to this is astounding!
