That flag dates to the very start of the American Revolution. It's originally from South Carolina, but is now seen all across the nation.

The snake can still bite too.

Another Florida man in uniform. I have heard that Florida accounts for some 38% of our nation's active duty personnel, and thus in some ways is fighting the war almost single handed, with some help of course from Texas.

There is a reason for that.
Texas and Florida along with Alaska don't have a State Income Tax.
Military personnel maintain their State citizenship where ever they are transfered too.
When they transfer too a State with no Income Tax they imediately change their vehical/drivers license and register to vote in those States.
They then keep their registration and state citizenships when they transfer out to a State with Income Tax.
It's all about the taxes.

Wonderful! I already have one of those in my car

I have one in my window at home. Along with the other "Don't Tread on Me" flag (the first Naval Ensign), a Texas Flag and of course the Stars and Stripes.
