I don't think so. The shooter is an immigrant, and therefore a member of a protected class that can do no wrong according to the libs in the news. Somehow, Dan Blather or someone will try to blame NRA for it, ignoring the fact that gun laws for aliens are even tougher than those for citizens.

And lets not forget the all encompassing "Silenced, high capacity, automatic, assault .357 magnum revolver" I got one of them, but it's sawed-off.
With armor piercing bullets.
You mean teflon armor piercing explosive cop-killer bullets.

"And lets not forget the all encompassing 'Silenced, high capacity, automatic, assault .357 magnum revolver'" While we're not forgetting, let's also not forget how Metzenbaum declared that the crappy "streetsweeper" -- a 12 ga. revolver -- was a "machinegun". And let's also not forget how difi's early drafts of the offenseweapon bill defined any "repeating arm" as a "semiautomatic". Yes, grampappie's ancient Winchester 94 lever action would have been legally defined as a "semiautomatic" -- thus, when the word "semiautomatic" had been sufficiently demonized to rationalize a complete (and retroactive) ban, grampappie would have had to give up the family heirloom.

Thanks for the clarification on the bar exam. Coming from Wisconsin, we don't see much need to talk about it. ;)

"...in Chapel Hill, NC, a few years ago a guy with a rifle shot and killed several people right down the main street of that University - and then pleaded insanity - and got off - scot free." Yep...and in Waco, Texas, back in '93, Butch Reno executed William Jefferson Blythe Clinton's Orders and orchestrated the Mass-Murder of 78 innocent Americans, and not one of the perpetrators has ever been tried in Court!!
If the Left has their way, this Osama jon Walker Traitor will be made a hero and walk off--scot FRee--and sign a huge book deal as a anti-America CounterCultureHero.

Religions: Sunni Muslim (state religion) 99%, Christian and Jewish 1% ..ouch!

"Yup, just checked. About 45% of all Nigerians are Muslim, 49% Christian. I'm bettin' he's Muslim." Since "good Christians" regardless of denomination don't go around shooting people, and "good Muslims" of several "denominations" do, I suspect the odds are in your favor.

Oops, sorry all. Thought the murderer was from Algeria (like Zacharias Musaui(sp)), not
Nigeria. Here's the link to the World Fact Book for
Nigeria

I posted the listing for Algeria, not Nigeria. The correct link is a few posts above this one. Just wanted to rectify my mistake.

"...the news media seems to be avoiding and evading who this guy is." Hopefully, that is outta respect for the victim's families, but it'll be interesting if they pick up on it later.

In CT we had drive by shootings on a regular basis leading up to a bill that would have regulated guns. My wife thought I was nuts saying it was just a coincidence (and I'm ussually the guy who suspect conspiracys before most people). She had a gut feeling too.

Actually, aren't the vast majority of .380's revolvers? No, the 380 is actually a 9mm short. You're probably thinking of 38. Ballistic perfromance of the 380 is generally poorer than the 38, but it can be made to match not-too-hot 38 loads.
