Funny, I've never heard where Jesus advocated macabre humour regarding people dying. I am so pleased the families will be able to laugh at the loss of their loved ones!
"Humor is odd, grotesque and wild", as a famous Dean of St. Patrick's Cathedral once said. A number of other great wits - Twain, Mencken and Thurber, to name but three - have noted that the core of humor is tragedy.
A question for you, please. When you witness to others, do you not pray in front of the one's you are witnessing to?
I don't discuss my religious practices in this forum. I don't consider myself either qualified or worthy to discuss the religious practices of other Christians; even if I were, the fact that they are Christians so far outweighs quibbles about points of dogma that I won't do it.
However, I will not tolerate public pronouncements of sanctimony being used as a means of debate. Pray wherever you wish; but when you use 'prayer' as an ulterior mens of gaining a point, don't expect to be unchallenged. This is a forum, not a temple.
US Citizens, naturalized and deserving of citizenship by study, peer support, and judgment by the community that he will support and add to, not hate and detract, this country and its culture -- THEY ARE THE PEOPLE DESERVING OF THE LEGACY OF THE FOUNDING FATHERS.
This creep was, and is, an America-hating, white-hating, petty, third-world dirtbag.
Equate them with real Americans and you give away the entire farm.
9-11 happened PRECISELY because of the boneheaded logic that every homo sapiens drawing a breath deserves the rights and privileges of American citizenship.
And that logic is flawed!
If what you say is true, then why have borders to America? Why have a naturalization process? Why have an oath of citizenship? Why void someone's citizenship if he serves in the military of another country? Why not just declare every third-world idiot like this guy an American citizen, if he, by virtue of breathing, deserves all such rights?
Why not return rifles and grenade launchers to the Taliban detainees in Guantanamo? Don't THEY have an inalienable right to defend themselves? Doesn't the Second Amendment apply to them, too?
What, pray tell, is in your drinking water?
Can you not see that your point of view is the one espoused by the America-loathing left, its lawyers, its judges, its political science professors, its newscasters, its print journalists, etc.,etc.
Granting, automatically, Jeffersonian rights to every human being who breathes is absolutely the quickest way to undo the United States that anyone could ever invent.
It is something that will get you an A on your term paper in junior high school from Mr. Harry the Hippie History teacher, but, applied to the reality of life on earth, it is a way for our country and our people to commit rapid, national suicide.
Why is that silly?
Do you have no idea who Bill Clinton is?
He grew up in HOT SPRINGS, Arkansas with his Uncle who headed the Dixie mafia.
Do you understand what that means? Just that connection alone would explain some of the "hits" his enemies or potential"squealers" experienced.
Add to that criminal background the alliance with the Marxist/Maoists/Stalinists who - as Whitaker Chambers revealed in his blockboster of the century book: "Witness" - ARE KILLERS - plus Clinton's apparent "in" with the Soviet KGB during the Vietnam war as an antiwar protestor turned guest of the Soviets and their Communist block nations during that era - AND his involvement with the CIA during the Mena operation - and Clinton had all the necessary contacts for "help" when he/she needed them. Throw in an absence of morals (see the liberal Mort Sahl's recent evaluation of Clinton posted on these boards) - and the Clinton death list is not "silly" in the least.
When you can show similar attributes/history of President Bush - then we can talk about the Bush list - which is so silly it is ridiculous.
Finally - just one death during Clintonista hell - that of one Barbara Alice Wise - investigated with integrity would be enough to uncover the true evil of what occupied the highest realm of our government for those eight long years. Will that happen? Sadly, apprently, no.
Has the "gun used to halt shooting" story spread very far? That was the first I'd heard of it.
As for the lefties trying to pin this on "right wing operatives", I will quote Mr O's outlook on his troubles. Spoken like a true victim of society:
