This was the issue that John Engler won on in 1990 when he was supposed to get his butt kicked. I remember the pre-Engler tax days and property tax bills that just astronomical. That was back in the days of "Last one to leave Michigan, please turn out the lights".

my current property tax is hideous. We must get someone with name recognition to run against Jenny or Blanchard.
