What Free Republic Means to me on this Election Day!
I still remember waking up the day after the November 2000 election, and seeing on tv the vile DemonicRats trying to steal an election and our nation! I had received some early warnings from friends about massive election theft and some massive scheme to steal the election. It had happened re the fraud and the attempt to steal the election in Floriduh, had begun. I was devastated, which is not my normal outlook on life.
I was a newbie at Free Republic, and I came here for ideas and support.
One of the ideas posted was to develop our own email lists of friends, relatives and other conservatives we knew, then to send them emails with the great material that was posted on Free Republic. I set up a list of 50+. Two whining weasels wanted off, and the rest got involved and set up their lists. If I didn't send new material at night before I went to bed and early in the morning, some people on the list would email me and ask why I hadn't sent anything out!
When our freepers started marching in DC and other areas to protest the attempted theft of our nation, I was so impressed and proud to be a newbie Freeper! We flooded the streets here protesting, and the community was stunned. It wasn't the usual left wing renta mob, it was real people protesting the attempted theft of our nation!
I still believe that if it were not for Free Republic and the incredible hard work of we who refused to allow our Republic to be destroyed by voter fraud, Goron would be our president.
If Goron had been our president at the time of 9/11, our republic would be on the ash heap of history!
I have two sons in their 30's, a wonderful daughter in law, who has become very conservative after 9/11 and my two beloved grand children. I shudder to think about their future if not for Free Republic in the dark days of 2000 and after 9/11.
My monthly donations to Free Republic are a small payback for what I and my wife have received from God and this country. A strong Free Republic will insure that my sons, my daughter in law and beloved grand children can live in freedom like I have been blessed with!
I can't understand why any real conservative does not support Free Republic on a regular basis! Maybe they aren't real conservatives, who still love this country!?
We must keep Free Republic strong, growing and ready for all the future tricks by the dark sides! There is only one way to do that.
We must share some of our treasure that the Lord has loaned to us with Free Republic. It is that simple!
